Party at zzita's!!

Sep 29, 2009 6:40pm

Umm, that's easy. On my back, legs spread, feet in stirrups.

ZZita, have you rigged it up yet? You need to figure out how far apart to put the ceiling hooks.

Not yet used one Toots!  Party to take away purity points? :)  ((I DO like and have tried the over/under the any closed door in your house over your head wrist and to the floor ankle cuffs kit!))

Oh how I envy you greatly...! lol

The one's I've seen only need one hook. All you need is a big lag bolt with a hook on it but when you installing it make sure you hit a 2X4 in the ceiling or I have seen them installed in the top of a door frame. OH and they can be a lot of fun :-) Thinking about it brings back wonderful memories.

SuperScore!  Congratz!

More pedestrian, but exciting enough for me:

someone's bartering me a gently-used Vita Mix for an hour of energy work!

IMHO, I think the Vita Mix can also a life-changing piece of equipment, but your swing is juicy in a completely different way.

Most SEX SLINGS are leather and have big rings at all four corners to suspend the sling from. (There are 3,5, and 6 point slings to but that's another discussion)

Most SEX SWINGS are cloth/nylon and suspend from one or two points.

The difference is huge on the comfortable positions you can lay in the sling/swing.

The swing is only comfortable in a bit of a sitting position like a hanging chair. The back has to be somewhat vertical or you fell like the swing is trying to fold your back in half.

The sling is very comfortable to lie on your back in. Your butt might even be a bit higher than your head, your legs up in stirrups. The issue with slings is the angle of lead from each corner. If the hooks are straight up, the sling tries to fold up under your weight. If the hooks are spread to far apart the sling feel flat like a board.

I have chain across the ceiling in my play area and space for side by side slings. The angle leading from each sling is easy to adjust by moving the place the chain going to the sling hooks to the chain on the ceiling.

The discussion of rigging makes me think of the chains I have hanging from the ceiling of my preschool classroom that the occupational therapist uses for motor. This one comes with an inner tube swing and a circular padded wood platform (kid-sized). But have you ever thought of using less expected stuff with your rigging, Rig_Daddy?

I use all sorts of stuff to build slings. My name, Rig Daddy, comes mostly from building outdoor slings and shade structures. I have a fully washable nylon sling that gets hung using chain, or rope, or nylon straps from trees, barns, gazeboes etc.

I was in one of these these things at a swinger's club in Ft. Wayne, IN (Club Utopia) about 4 years ago. As I recall, I took on 4 guys at once in various ways one Friday night. Based on Rig Daddy's description, I think that it was a sling. As I remember, it was easy to manuever and my hands and head were free and I could move easily in it. They had a room set up just for the thing.

This reminds me of when I was taking a tour of a very nice old church downtown in my city. Upon entering a very nice parlor upstairs, the preacher, who was giving a tour, pointed out a metal bar about two feet long, hanging from the ceiling by a pair of chains on one side of the room and said "Now, this is not some kinky sex thing..." to which I was like :O because southern preachers rarely admit such things exist, and then he went on to explain that the room was used by brides getting ready for their weddings, and they'd been hanging their dresses from the chandelier, but such misuse had begun pulling it out of the ceiling, so they installed the bar specifically for the dresses to be hung from.
