I just recently found these forums, and saw a bunch of other people either giving, or asking for advice with their profiles. So here I thought I'd ask for some help looking at mine. I had one friend look at mine, but I didn't get much out of that, plus more than one extra perspective would be better, I think.

(Pictures probably aren't the greatest, but they are what I have. I've tried to keep them somewhat recent, none being more than a year old, except one that should be obvious)

Your profile is decent enough. Most suggested improvements would probably amount to nitpicking (fix the "because" typo, stick an apostrophe in "let's," etc.) or to ideas that can't be or haven't been quantified for soundness.

If you have any problems on this site, I'm betting they'll arise from the messages you send, not your profile.

Wall of text, could not finish.

More likely not listing his income. From judging his profile, he probably doesn't send stupid messages.

Thanks! I did find a couple typos since you mentioned them, and promptly fixed those because I'm OCD like that. If that is a wall of text to you, then it's doing a good job of weeding some people out who are going to be turned off by a short read. I'd like to say my pictures are what turns people away, only because I very rarely seem similarly dressed people, and I don't have any of me dressed in say, jeans and a t-shirt. Very well could be my messages, though, I've had more luck talking to people that don't live near me than not lol.

Personally I think you managed something a lot of people that come here fail miserably at.  Instead of saying "I'm funny and good at making people laugh", your profile actually came across as humorous.  This makes you a bigger success at writing profiles than most people that come here looking for advice.

Yea, but I get to cheat. Not everyone can say they share the name of a rock star. I actually had to grow into that, hated it during gradeschool haha! I swear, every other phone call at work, someone makes a joke about it. I need to print out a tour schedule at hang it in my cubicle.

Thanks, I tried =)

Oh trust me, I understand having a name that can make you miserable when you're younger, but when you get older it's great to laugh about.  I went to a military high school, and with what my last name is...  It always made me wish people could get more creative with their jokes.  Hearing the same thing half a dozen times a day for years starts to get old after about the first week.
