My self-summary
Just moved to Dallas and excited to explore the city :) I'm originally from Canada and moved to the U.S for school. But after finding work and experiencing a non-Canadian winter, it makes it hard to want to go back North. And after stops in Nevada, Colorado and Louisiana it looks like i'm settling in Dallas!

My favorite thing in the world is traveling and exploring new places. I also love staying active and playing soccer, volleyball or just about any other sport. But I also love a good night on the couch playing board games, or relaxing with my good friend Netflix.
What I’m doing with my life
Now that I've got the career thing down i'm looking for a partner in crime. But no major felonies, maybe just a little "jaywalking", "disorderly conduct", and if we're feeling really adventurous "parading without a permit".
I’m really good at
Getting out of awkward conversations by saying things like "OH GOD. HELP ME. THIS IS THE WORST. I WISH I WAS DEAD".

But I'm also good at less practical things like...
Making lists.
Crossing things off lists.
Board games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pretty easy going and try to not take myself too seriously. Unless it's Monopoly time, then it's game time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Anything by Tarantino, the Coen brothers, JJ Abrams, or Wes Anderson. But a few favorites are: What We Do In The Shadows, Amelie, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Fight Club, Infernal affairs, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. And still a sucker for Princess Bride and Star Wars...

Shows: Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, SNL, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Seinfeld, How I met Your Mother, Mad Men, Battlestar Galactica.

Books: The Alchemist, Catch-22, 1984, Atlas Shrugged, Brave New World, The Catcher in the Rye, and Slaughterhouse-five.

Music: Years & Years, The Lumineers, The XX, Stars, Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters and Men, passion pit, and Empire of the Sun.

Food: Love anything spicy. But Sushi might be my favorite.
Six things I could never do without
1) Laughter- Otherwise what's the point?
2) Exercise- Big soccer, kickball and racquetball fan. Really want to try fencing at some point. I like to think my lunging skills might finally be useful.
3) Passportl- So many places so little time!
4) Dynamite*.
5) Pole Vaulting*.
6) Laughing Gas*.
*4-6 are for this heist I really think is going to work out.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where the next soccer/kickball game is at?
Who's up to hop in a car for the next road trip. And at some point, where it is we're going....
What TV show to binge watch next?
On a typical Friday night I am
Maybe playing some board games with friends before heading out for a drink or show. Or just relaxing and watching a movie, or three...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
For some reason I keep getting mixed up with the Canadian and American spelling differences on certain words.
Lets just say it doesn't look good in a presentation when you spell it "colour" and not "color" ;)
You should message me if
If you love to travel and can be witty and fun. Enjoy a good conversation. Don't take yourself too serious, but can still be serious when it counts.
