My self-summary
Hacking, science, technology, ideas, anthropology, books, documentaries, music, metaphorical flaming tire fires, and startups. Extroverted when needed, introverted when buried in work. I like good ideas, building things, being busy, cooking at home, endless streams of media, and calling all cats Pikachu. All of them. Every Single One.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm basically a professional cyberpunk. I traveled a lot last year relating to my startup work, but I've taken a break from gallivanting to focus on something equally uncircumspect. It's better told in person, but seriously, it's like something out of a Neal Stephenson novel.
I’m really good at
Financial independence. I don't like doing expensive things. I'm either earning a lot, or earning nothing. Being frugal allows me to choose which.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I used to design pirate radio transmitters and run pirate radio stations (and still have a large music library from that), but mostly I just listen to The Current.

Documentaries, anything by Hayao Miyazaki, spaced out foreign films, lots of non-fiction. TNG and Cosmos. VICE documentaries. Blade Runner. Anne of Green Gables 4 LYFE.

I like all kinds of food, but I tend to cook Italian. Olive oil, pomodoro, heirloom tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella, peasant bread, olives, truffles, parmigiano, garlic, balsamico, eggs from our backyard chickens, charcuterie. All varnished liberally with a healthy portion of high-pressure sprayed, heat condensed, blue raspberry flavored Faygo soda (I'm a hard core Juggalo).
Six things I could never do without
Everything on Maslow's hierarchy of needs
A laptop with a shell terminal
A bicycle
Japanese tea
A strategic reserve of books
I spend a lot of time thinking about
New things to create. Weird schemes.
On a typical Friday night I am
In some random country preparing for a talk, or this.
You should message me if
You are not allergic to olive oil or computer people.
