My self-summary
Creative/Cerebral type who writes about the nature and origins of human consciousness for a living, makes cool stuff with his hands and imagination for fun and is a nimble athlete and fearless explorer. An old soul with boyish enthusiasm. Openly communicative, grounded/well-rounded, principled, deep-thinking, straight-shooting, culturally literate, book/people/street smart smart-a$$ with a knack for finding fun and adventure--a proverbial nice guy with a healthy edge.

Some of my interests include (in no particular order): Adventure seeking; theory/philosophy (my major); monkey business (my minor); being challenged mentally and physically (show me a puzzle to solve or a mountain to climb and I'm on it); bike riding/rollerblading through parks and streets--day or night; the surreal and absurd (in life and art); music/film; long walks on the...(don't worry; I'm not going there); learning (and teaching) new words, concepts and skills; paradoxes; World/American history; science; the history of science; roads less traveled; creative use of any environment (give me a stick, rock and water bottle, and I'll invent a game, make art or repair your engine with it...in other words, I'd be a good person to get shipwrecked with on a deserted island...just promise you'll share the coconuts and not run off with the monkey); writing ("The 'God' Part of the Brain: A Scientific Interpretation of Human Spirituality" is one title); taking pictures/making digital art; playing tennis/guitar; architecture/interior design/lighting; sensuality/eroticism; canoeing/kayaking; sneaking into places; bioluminescence; etymology; chess/board games; swinging from chandeliers (just checking to see if you're still with me...and I honestly don't blame you, if you're not); random treks by bike, foot or car…or hovercraft, if you happen to have one; stoop sales/flea markets/antique shops; documentaries; order; chocolate; chaos; carpentry/repairing stuff (if it's broke, I'll fix it); black licorice, chocolate, cashews, strong coffee, tequila, grass....a fairly healthy lifestyle mixed with a few indulgences.
What I’m doing with my life
A little bitta dis...a little bitta dat
I’m really good at
I've got an eclectic assemblage of mad skills...Let's just say that when the zombie apocalypse comes, I'm one of those guys you want on your side.
The first things people usually notice about me
My penetrating eyes, broad shoulders and the piece of broccoli caught between my teeth.

The six things I could never do without
1) Self-Awareness
2) Laughter
3) Imagination
4) Adventure
5) Love
6) Lust
I spend a lot of time thinking about
man's place in the universe...that, and what you'd look like naked
On a typical Friday night I am
Home alone in my socks and underwear arranging my Hummel figurine collection.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a Cybernet C46 Series Android--please don't tell my manufacturer that I told you.

My sexual safeword is: antidisestablishmentarianism.

Rather than bend down, I generally pick things up off the floor with my toes.
You should message me if
You're cool and fun.
