My self-summary
I can't beat the feeling of taking something broken or not optimized and breathing new life into it. Seeing something you put together with your own hands, after torquing every bolt or machining and welding a new part, is more exciting than any plot line to any movie or book I can imagine. I also can't turn down a good adrenaline rush. Its hard to pin down something I wouldn't be up to doing at least once, unless its dancing.

Don't even try to get me to dance, many have tried and many have failed.
What I’m doing with my life
I bought a house a year ago and I'm slowly making it into a home. In my spare time I like to play volleyball and work on anything that has an engine or motor (diesel, electric, or gas, I'm not picky). If I'm not working my mind or body, I like to unwind with a good movie or just fooling around on the internet.

I work as a software developer for a pet insurance company. Its an amazing job made even better by getting to play with dogs everyday.
I’m really good at
- Eating candy
- Elefun the Butterfly Catching Game
- Fixing and modifying anything I can get my hands on
- Imagining eating candy

In that order.
The first things people usually notice about me
My complete lack of threatening cues. I've been told "I couldn't ever imagine you murdering me" and they are absolutely correct.

I've also been told multiple times that I give off a "California surfer vibe" for some reason.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Given those choices, I would favorite food, since I need it to survive. If you want a few of each, those are available too I guess...

Books: I don't read, they ruin movies.
I do read service manuals, datasheet, and journal articles. Yes, I did just make books seem even more boring.

Movies: Super Troopers, Se7en, TT3D, The Wild And Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, Grandma's Boy, War Games, The Big Lebowski, The Prestige, Dogma...

Shows: Archer, South Park, Bob's Burgers, Modern Family, Frisky Dingo, Top Gear, Wheeler Dealers, F1/Moto GP/rally (america and wrc)

Music: Just about anything besides most modern pop music and christian music. Generally its punk, classic rock, metal, older rap, and chiptunes.
To give you an idea, here are some bands I frequently listen to: Pennywise, CCR, Chuck Berry, BTNH, FSR, Agent Orange, Dead Milkmen, NOFX, Pink Floyd, Dio, Jimi Hendrix, The Black Keys, Voodoo Glow Skulls, ZZ Top, Deltron 3030, Rancid, Ratatat, Dropkick Murphies, Flogging Molly, BlakRoc...

Food: I will try anything once, but I don't really like onions.
Six things I could never do without
First and foremost would obviously be my family and friends (who doesn't say those two?). After that, in no particular order, would be the internet, motorcycles, music, and good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My current projects and how to make my dreams come true. I've always got a grandiose plan for one of them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally I would be playing video games, billiards, bowing, or some sport (i.e. volleyball, racquetball...) with some friends. If that can't happen, then I am probably working on some project of mine.

Also, not setting an alarm. Probably the best feeling in the world.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've almost died 5-ish times! I may be little worse for wear, but still alive and kicking.
