My self-summary
I'm definitely what many would call a nerd or geek.

I think I'm honestly just here looking for someone I can go places like museums, Disneyland, just out in general, or stay in enjoying each others company, watching movies/TV shows, and board/video games. I haven't really let myself date because of my weight so I'm looking to change that.

Seeking the Amy Pond to my Rory Williams.

Earlier this year I started doing what has been long over due. Losing weight with CICO and trips the the gym a few times each week. I'm down 35+ lbs since January.

I'm still stupidly amused that during a restless night a while back, I looked at the clock and it read 4:04.

I'm kind of odd but aren't we all?
What I’m doing with my life
I'm at a bit of a crossroad looking at the various directions. I'm close to the destination I've been going towards but I'm thinking about the long term potential a bit.

One of my hobbies right now is 3D printing. My printer is small and I mainly print trinkets but I enjoy it. I actually finished a 34 piece(told ya, small printer) helmet recently that I planned out for Halloween a couple years ago when my friends decided to do a theme of DC villains. Now I'm moving onto a new multi-print project.
I’m really good at
Figuring out how things work, driving, finding a simple solution to a complex problem, video games, and procrastination.

Also making peppermint bark. I do the full two layer version using white and either milk or dark chocolate. The latter of which is much better.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my height. I tend to tower over most that are around me and I usually forget just how much until I see a photo.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: American Gods, the Odyssey series, and Dirk Pitt series by Clive Cussler to name a few. I listen to audiobooks at the gym and We Are Legion(We Are Bob) was great. Of course I read Harry Potter and enjoy that universe in both written and film form.

Movies: Always Disney and Pixar animation. Big ones so far recently have been Arrival, The Martian, Zootopia, Mad Max: Fury Road, Kingsman, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: Rogue One, Moana, Inside Out, Captain America: Civil War, and Star Trek Beyond.

TV: Doctor Who, Sherlock, New Girl, Star Trek: TNG, The Newsroom, Agents of Shield, Warehouse 13, How I Met Your Mother, The Grand Tour, The Magicians, The Expanse, The Good Place, Silicon Valley, Westworld, and Game of Thrones to name a few. On my rewatch list is currently Battlestar Galactica and Lost.

Music: It varies. There are a lot of film scores in my iTunes library. I've listened to Hamilton a lot but there is no amount to which one can say is too many times. Besides that, I tend to stick with various forms of rock.
Six things I could never do without
Why not save this for a later discussion?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Time. Space. Light. Sound. Matter.

Why perpetual motion machines don't really work. How one might program a system to self teach there for create an AI. Why creating AI may be a bad thing. Why it may be good. If all my POP vinyls come to life when I'm not around and hang out together outside their boxes. I could keep going.
On a typical Friday night I am
Once upon a time Friday nights were when I'd hang out with friends playing board games or watching them get drunk and philosophical.

These days Friday nights are just another night in which I'm at home not really doing anything important. Time does weird things to groups of friends. Also one breaking up with another.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I played bagpipes for a couple years in middle school.

Something I said above would definitely fit here too.
