My self-summary
Hi, My name is Stan, and I study 3D animation in San Francisco. I will be graduating from the Academy of Art University this May with a 2nd BFA in Character Animation. It's my dream to animate a creature for a feature film with ILM (Industrial Light and Magic). Working with Pixar/Disney would be cool too, but ILM is the dream. 3D animation is a lot of work, so it keeps me very busy. As busy as I am, I think I could allocate a couple of hours out of a week to have a mutually stimulating conversation where there would be a mutual attraction that could eventually lead to a relationship. I'm attracted to women that are into fitness, and have a drive to accomplish a goal in something they have a passion for. I think I could fall in love with a woman that was a 3d artist like myself. There would be so much we could learn from each other.

I am new, friendly, and curious
What I’m doing with my life
I am studing 3D animation, and my skills are available for hire at $45 an hour. It takes 10 hours to animate 4 seconds of animation at 24 frames per second. For those of you who don't know that I'm talking about, I'm refering to the fact that when you watch tv or a film, you are actually seeing a series of 24 still photographs flashing before you per second. Each photograph is a frame. There are 24 frames per second in film, and 29.7 frames per second in video. In 2D animation, the animator draws 24 still pictures per second. I studied 2D animation, and had difficulty keeping consistant volumes in the characters. I like that the computer gives me presision tools to help me animate, but there is a science to it, and that takes years to master.

Today I'm thinking about taking some advanced classes in 2d animation next year. I think it would be awesome to draw and animate characters the way Chuck Jones did for the WB cartoons. I'll probably start by buying some books that teach the techniques for drawing characters like the Road Runner, Bugs bunny, and Wildy Cyotte; my favorite. I love it when he staps himsellf to the rocket and blows himself up, or falls down a cliff.
I’m really good at
3D Animation, and other various art forms. I can also ride a motorcycle. I have a motorcycle license, and a few years ago, I used to road race in the Formula 2 class with the American Federation of Motorcyclists. In the Formula 2, there would be 30 racers all lined up on a grid. When the green flag waved, each row of racers would rev up and race to the corner, brake, and lean so low our knees would have these plastic gaurds on them that would scrape agaist the ground. I've mellowed out since then, but every once in a while I like to go dirt bike riding. Sometimes, when I'm in a really good mood, I can make people laguh. I like to smile and say hi to people. I'm very social. I'm also starting martial arts class next Friday to find my center, and learn how to be in control of my mind and body. I think learning martial arts will make me internally and externally strong, which will allow me to have more of a possitve influence on other people's lives. I think it would be great to one day know enough, and have enough expereince to be a mentor, and help disadvantaged people set and attain realistic goals.
The first things people usually notice about me
I really don't know cause I can't see what others see. I think the first thing they notice is how young I look. I'm 30 years old, but I look like I'm 20. I'm also very tall. I suppost that's something they notice too, and I have large feet. Size 13. I like to wear jeans a lot, but I have other things in my wardrobe that I wear once in a while to change things up a bit. I also have 3 paris of shoes. I have some sketchers that are good on nice days when it's not raining, sneakers that I somehow manage to keep clean, and some Mefisto black dress shoes that I would wear to an interview.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't read a lot of books, but I like the concept art for movies like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, basicly any movie that has visual effects and animation in it. I think it's the story that drives all the effects and animation. Without a captivating story, no one will want to watch it. I liked Walk the Line, and I thought Brokeback Mountain had a good story. I also like to play video games occasionally. I've played Half Life, and Unreal Tournament. I like first person shooters, and racing games. I like classic rock from the 70's 80's and alternative. I also enjoy some of the R and B Hip Hop songs. My favorites are that one where she sings about her lumps, and "Don't you Wish your Girlfriend Was Hot Like Me." Hip Hop is great to work out to. I like to listen to Led Zeplin and a little of AC DC is cool once in a while. I like to eat healthy. Chicken or fish with a salad is good. Once in a while I like pasta or a rib eye steak. I cook at my appartment with my George Forman Grill. It's fast and easy to clean, but it's so small that when I have company I have to use my oven for broiling or baking meats. Now that I have re thought it, I actually do read the paper once a week, and I like to read magazines like US News, and learn about all the advancements that are going on in science and technology.
Six things I could never do without
1. my family 2. my mentors 3. food 4. water 5. my computer 6. My truck "Betsy"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My goals, and weather or not my expectations are too high. I think a lot about animation and how I can get more proficant with 3D applications like Maya and 3D Studio Max. Companies that I would like to work for. I'm pretty much in the momment. While I have my long term goals, each day I'm focused on achieving a few things just for that day. Eventually the days add up, and I get a long term goals accomplished.

I also think about how I can be healthier and stonger, mentally and physically. I try to find things that stimulate my imagionation. I also wonder if I will ever make the time to snowboard before al the snow has melted. I'll probably have to wait till next year.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working on animation, but around 11pm I stop, everynight and relax. I watch tv, check e-mail, and chat with friends on AIM. On Sundays I usually have more time to relax, but my friends are taking more classes, and they have jobs, so I usually don't have anyone to hang out with. Once I get my demo reel ready, I'll probably spend some time looking for ways to meet people in the animation industry, and network my way into a career. Every once in a while, when I do get people together, we like to go drink and socialize at sombodies house, and then later walk to the local club for some dancing. We look after each other, and make sure everyone gets home safly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I find that after a good work out, my labido increases. I have been known to spend an entire night and morning loving a woman. When I really like a girl, I'll never stop finding ways to show her how special she is to me. I am a true romantic, and I'm very sensitive. Relationships tend to freak me out sometimes, and by that I mean that I get anxiety and depression, but the martial arts training/meditation will help me to control that. I'm not perfect, and no one is, but I try hard to be the best I can be.
