My self-summary
First off, I'm not a premium user, so I do not see likes.

My life is about exploring and learning new things. My favorite activities are usually outdoors in the summer, such as hiking, kayaking, casual volleyball, camping. I like to go to game nights or trivia during the week. I'm hoping to find someone interesting who enjoys learning and exploring this world as much as I. Kindness is very important to me. It seems to be a vanishing trait.

There's much more. If any of this interests you let's chat.

What I’m doing with my life
Trying to learn as much as I can. I enjoy trying new things, looking for new interesting people to chat with about new ideas, mostly just making it up as I go along.
I’m really good at
I've been told I'm a good listener. I'm an information sponge, and just love learning something new. One of my hobbies is gardening, I'm really good with plants and animals, it just comes naturally. I'm learning to cook, so hopefully I can brag on that soon!
The first things people usually notice about me
That's a tough one, I'm not really sure. Perhaps my height?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Really I like a show with strong, quirky characters. Some of my all time favorite movies include Aliens, Ghostbusters, The Shawshank Redemption, Slap Shot, and Monty Python's Holy Grail. I sometimes like to tell people my favorite movie all time is a foreign film (The Good, the bad and the ugly).

Music: I listen to everything basically. My favorite genre is blues, but since that's not on the radio much, mostly classic rock, hard rock or sometimes country. They say music is a lot like candy bars, getting through the rappers is the toughest part.

TV: Limitless Lucifer, The Librarians, Galavant, Elementary, Archer, Undateable are some current shows. My all time favorite show is probably Frasier. Everyone talks about how high brow it was, but it could often be quite goofy and slapstick at times. Shows I've liked that are gone now, Backstroke, Community, Breaking Bad, Rick and Morty, and Futurama.

Books, Ender's Game, Sherlock Holmes, The Hitchhiker's Guide series, The Lord of the Rings, and various, diverse blogs.
Six things I could never do without
My dogs
The internet - What an age we live in to have such a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips!
Something new to see or do
Things to tinker with
Air-Water-Food-but I suppose those are givens?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Science and stuff. Reading about new things and what's next.
On a typical Friday night I am
This is a tough one, there is no typical Friday, last week I attended a lecture at MSU on the history of the Beal Gardens, This week I went to a mexican restaurant with friends, two weeks ago I think I just stayed home and caught up on some old shows. Just mixing it up and keeping it interesting.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know what a tetraquark is, but not how it's put together, but then no one does yet.
