My self-summary
I've set my infinite number of monkies to work, it could be ready any day now.

I'm sueing the monkeys before the court of probability.

The appointed judge is Schrödinger's cat, and it's not entirely clear when it will show up. I don't even want to consider the clarity of the verdict yet.

Update: The damn monkeys! Now my doppleganger has shown up on the process, instead of me! ...

I am imperturbable, eccentric, and washable
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated in History. Inevertheless started environmental sciences at the open university - a far more suitable approach towards studying; I would like a job in that direction. I was in the local youth movement, but much less intensive now. Getting my driver's licence. Scrounging the internet. Drawing & painting, which I will not stop practicing until cruel dismemberment becomes my part.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'll tell you when the survey results are in. As it turns out, the same monkeys I entrusted with my self-summary ran the survey agency. DAmn.

The monkeys apparently have gotten a doppleganger to walk around. Maybe they know what they're doing after all.

Update: My doppleganger is called David and has 2 children. Dear fate, what has come of experimental rigour? I should try squids next time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: For fiction, I usually prefer SF or fantasy. Some favorites: Roger Zelazny, Robin Hobb, Mervyn Peake, Dan Simmons, Jack Vance, China Miéville, .. Of course, what's actually the difference with works written by Salman Rushdie, Umberto Eco, Aldoux Huxley, George Orwell, Thomas More, Daniel Defoe? Non-fiction: anything on systems, but taken very broadly (history, economy, evolution,..). I love learning how the world exists.

Films: Memento, Sin City, 12 monkeys, Requiem for a Dream, Pulp Fiction, Trainspotting, Rosetta, Apocalypse Now, Naked Lunch, Dogville, ..

Bioshock, the game. Loads of atmosphere, and it will be a film apparently!

I don't look much TV anymore, but Blackadder or Red Dwarf are always nice to include. Twin Peaks also used to be great.

Music: Pavement, Frank Zappa, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, Neil Young, some jazz, Beastie Boys, Nick Cave, Elvis Costello, Bettie Serveert, Cocteau Twins, some John Zorn, Django Reinhardt..

Food: Indian. Rabbit. Given the number of rabbits I've eaten, it's less surprising that I'm developing vegetarian tendencies. Nuts, dried fruits, raw carrots. No, I'm not autocoprofaghic, and I don't twitch my nose. Earl Grey tea. Coffee. Trappist beer. Red wine.

For all of the above: I can't dislike what I haven't tried, can I?
Six things I could never do without
learning - appreciation - art, actively - a forested refuge - sunday mornings (cue velvet underground) - and another possibility to fill in
I spend a lot of time thinking about
life, society, nature, the incredible ability of people to ignore and forget, future, words, conceptual metaphysics, books, love, DNA, education, music, lyrics, geometry, what to do?, history, dreams, what color?, economy, composition, relations & sociability, plotlines, writing, sex, the past, politics, sanity, fairy tales, food, serendipity...

I try to be as open-minded as possible, but there's always another veil behind the curtains.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm an aspie, though people can't tell. You have been notified.
