My self-summary
So much to say and so little space! Well figuratively, I guess. But let's be honest, if I type up a huge page of text are you really going to read it all?
Yeah I wouldn't either :P
So 30 second elevator speech version it is!

My name is Brianna. I'm a proud Canadian-American who is opinionated, passionate, honest to the point of being blunt, loyal till the end for my friends, and terrible at spelling (thank God for spell check!).
What I’m doing with my life
I jumped in to a new position with Pepsi at the start of 2017 dealing with safety. Same place, same awesome coworkers new job 😄. I'm now wading my way through the lovely alphabet soup of government agencies, requirements, regs and mandates of everything I'm responsible for. I've learned a ton but still more to go. Thankfully I love to learn!
I’m really good at
That's for me know and you to find out :)
Well sort of... it just seems a bit conceited to me to list off the things you are good at. Besides isn't good a relative term?

After that lovely disclaimer, I will admit I like doing the following things, so I hope that after all the time I've spent on them I'm "good" at them.
Swimming (well maybe not so much anymore... it's been a while since I've been in a pool.)
Political Debates, particularly making an argument so utterly absurd and ridiculous its not even an argument just an exercise in futility only by using technicalities. It's both an art that requires a great deal of practice and the only benefit I've managed to find to a politics degree :P
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told it's my smile and outgoing personality. I guess that's what comes from working so many years in customer service :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read. Sadly I haven't had as much time to lately. However when I do read I like to read fiction, science fiction or romance novels or really anything else that peaks my interest. What I'm reading depends on my mood when I pick up a book. At the moment I'm devouring what my friends call brain candy, or as the rest of the world knows them romance novels.

Ok so I have an admission to make.
*glances around shiftily and leans in close to whisper*
I don't watch TV.

Blasphemy, I know, but there you have it. My roomie and I cancelled the cable at the beginning pf the year. We had it, we never really used it. So yeah, we would rather have the money for something else. That's not to say I mind TV, just that I'm easily distracted by it. Now while all of that is true, I'm totally a sucker for a Blackhawks game.

While I do get teased at work that I live under a cultural rock for not watching TV, I do like to go out to the movies. If I've got a few minutes I'm generally watching a trailer or looking at a clip on youtube. I like most genres of film but I tend to stay away from horror. Horror films end up being either too scary (I stay awake and can't sleep. Not good for a girl who loves her sleep) or so cheesy I feel like it was a waste of time. As for favourites, well I'm a Disney/Pixar fan but beyond that it's always changing. Some movies in the past that I've enjoyed: How to Train Your Dragon, The Dark Knight, Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hobbit, Memoirs of a Geisha, Transformers and 27 dresses.

As for food I don't think I've ever met anyone with a bigger sweet tooth than mine. I like to say my favourite food is dessert. If it's sweet chances are I'll like it! I'm always whipping up something in the kitchen (just ask my coworkers). It could be anything from a batch of cookies to a fancy french cake recipe to some interesting concoction I've found on Pinterest. It's all fair game to me! The crazier it is the more likely I am to try and whip it up.
I'm willing to try making just about anything once so if you have a crazy complicated recipe or even just an old favorite shoot me the recipe!

Music: I listen mostly to top 40 but really it's what ever pops up on iheartraido or while I'm driving. It varies from day to day but lately I've been digging the country jams.
Six things I could never do without
My Passports
My family
A kitchen
A good book
A few good friends to grab a bite/drink and a good chat with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Oh gosh, what don't I spend time thinking about! I'm always cooking up something in the back of my mind, be it a day dream, my to do list, a new recipe, a political or philosophical question or even planning my next vacation. Heck I've even been known to plot out global domination on my lunch break :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing the same thing we do every night Pinkey ...
*cue dramatic lighting*
Try and take over the world!

No but seriously friday nights could go a few different ways.
1) I'm got off work late thanks to my overachiever tendencies so I'm running to grab gym session.
2) I'm out and about hanging with girlfriends/coworkers. We could be downtown grabbing dinner/drinks or chilling at one of our places.
3) Calling, texting or on facetime with friends/family. Seriously everyone is everywhere! Thanks to studying abroad I've got friends and family scattered all over.
4) I'm chillin like a villain reading something sappy sweet and totally romantic while whipping something up in the kitchen.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You know that girl singing and dancing in her car at the stop lights? Yeah that would be me... :)
You should message me if
You want to. I'm not normally shy but meeting people online is intimidating, more so than meeting someone in person (or at least it is for me) so props to you if you do message me. If you have any questions let me know and bonus points if you can make me laugh.
