I also love being out in the woods whenever I get the chance. Camping and hiking are two of my favorite ways to spend the odd summer weekend.
This year I got to travel to France and England for work and decided I really want to get out and travel more in the future. I can't wait to get back to Bordeaux!
If you enjoy camping, hiking or travel, I'd love to meet someone who'd like to come along!
When I'm not at my desk, I like to spend my free time hiking, camping, playing RPGs or listening to music. Any other time, you'll probably find me wrapped up in a podcast or audiobook of some kind.
I just bought a house in Parkville and lately I've been spending a lot of time updating it and setting it up. Hopefully I'll be able to start actually living there in September.
There's never been a Michael Crichton novel I didn't devour. Lately I've been working my way through the Discworld series, and have been particularly enjoying the exploits of the Night's Watch.
Previous read - For the Honor of the Queen (Honor Harrington Book 2)
Current Read - Pinkerton's Great Detective: The Amazing Life and Times of James McParland
I could list TV shows for ages, but Doctor Who, Firefly, Archer, Arrested Development, Sherlock, and Battlestar Galactica sum up my tastes fairly well. I will also watch documentaries on any of the most eclectic topics.
If it's funny or a western, I'll love it. Some of my all time favorites though are Duck Soup, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and Once Upon a Time in the West.
I'm also a big fan of podcasts, including The Bugle, Stuff You Missed In History Class, Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, and The Thrilling Adventure Hour.
