I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to finding things to do. I can be just at happy out at some party, involving copious amounts of alcohol, and debauchery, as having a quiet night in, working on some personal pet project, or vegging out in front of the TV. I'm always up for trying a new activity, and I have done things like rock climbing, swing dancing, hiking, LAN parties, overnight camping in the mountains, smoking hookah with friends, road tripping in California, jam sessions, concerts.
Lastly I'm a total nerd/geek about a lot of things. Especially when it comes to music, computers, cool engineering projects (One day I will make an LED infinity mirror, and it will be glorious), and pretty much anything. I always love a good discussion, about some random topic, and learning something new.
When I'm not doing any of the above, I try to work on a variety of software/hardware projects. And when I'm not doing any of that it's video games or netflix, or reading.
Also problem solving. I love trying to fix things.
Music. I listen to almost anything. A little bit of everything from Jazz (Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich), Punk (Bouncing Souls, Blink 182) Metal (Iron Maiden, Opeth, Lamb of God), Prog (Dream Theater, Symphony X), Chill (Mezzamine, FC Kahuna), Hardcore (Modern Life is War, Comeback Kid), Post rock (Explosions in the sky, Russian Circles), and many others
Movies: I can generally make myself sit through almost anything. Yes even romantic comedies. I do prefer action, horror, sci fi, and comedies though. I'm pretty heavily hooked on Breaking Bad, Dr. Who, and Archer at the moment at the moment.
While at home:
"How cool would it be to make a santa clause decoration, with a motion tracking camera that stared cars down as they drove, screaming 'HOOOO HOOOO HOOOO'?"
(Don't worry I haven't made it...yet)
Then there's random thoughts.
- Like how complicated Color Theory is, and why there are so many different ways to represent a color.
-Magnets; How do they work?
-Magneto; Villain, or misunderstood hero;
On a serious note. I have a minor hearing impairment. So if I seem like I'm ignoring you...I might have just not heard you (which makes for a great excuse to ignore people)
Or if you just want to talk. That's ok with me as well.
