I have had my fair share of adventure. I've been backpacking in Australia, kayaking in Lake Superior, and jet-skiing in Cancun. I'd like to be able to add "hiked around Washington a bit" in there, but I'd also like to not do that alone. So if you're into that sort of thing, feel free to message me! Even if it's just little tips or something like that.
I play video games occasionally in my free time, though I like to watch movies and hang out with friends also. I co-host a video game podcast and keep a blog as well.
I'm hoping to get a job at a place like IGN or GameInformer or really any game-critique workplace. That'd be really awesome. Since I need a bit of a portfolio to work with, I'm kind of biding my time lately trying to accumulate some money so I can take some time off and really get into gear with my writing.
Forgiving & Forgetting (mostly forgetting)
Prioritizing what I can procrastinate.
Being a generally OK guy, I don't know.
Movies: Requiem for a Dream, Rudy, The Hangover, Field of Dreams, Ghost Writer, Amelie, Micmacs, The Dark Knight, Summer Wars, Inception, The Matrix, and Interstellar.
Shows: Archer, Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Daily Show, House, Louie, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Walking Dead, The League, Workaholics, South Park, Scrubs, Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones.
Food: Pizza always. I make a mean macaroni and cheese though.
Music: it varies constantly, but never into the "country" genre... right now I'm into stuff like Knife Party, Fitz and the Tantrums, Mumford and Sons, Local Natives, MGMT, The Tallest Man On Earth, Deadmau5, Bloc Party, Grouplove, The Strokes, The Shins, Foster the People, man... just a ton of stuff... But I'd say my top five favorite bands of all time would have to be... 5) Clams Casino, 4) Carpenter Brut, 3) Audioslave, 2) Fleet Foxes, and 1) My Morning Jacket.
4) Jerks, who remind me how good a person I actually am.
5) Great people, to aspire to be better.
6) Video games
