After 25 years of living in Alaska I decided to take a leap and moved to California. After moving around a couple of times I have found myself in LA and well, its been pretty kickass. It does a good job of helping me get out to go see shows that I may never have gotten to see, but also get a chance to go out and explore some of the great outdoor sites that LA has to offer. Just ask me and I can list a bunch of them. Living here also makes it a whole lot easier to travel, as its much closer to everything as well as cheaper to fly.
There is only so much I can convey before this turns into a novel. So, let's meet up, talk and get to know each other the old fashioned way
I am also really starting to embrace the idea of being a homebody. Sometimes sitting at home with a good glass of wine and a book or movie can be a pretty solid night.
Being able to hear a song and generally tell you who the band was that did it.
Cooking. I'm getting pretty decent at concocting my own dishes or going old school and making old family recipes.
Finding roommates on Craigslist. No really. Twice I've moved in with complete strangers and each time they've been the best case scenario. Cool people who Ive eventually become friends with.
Anything written by Christopher Moore, Chuck Palinuck or Micheal Crichton. I also love reading non-fiction.
Dazed and Confused, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Star Trek, Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction, GoodFellas, Blow, The Departed, The Other Guys, ect., ect.
The Trailer Park Boys, Fringe, South Park, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, How I Met Your Mother, Newsradio, Silicon Valley, The Office, Parks & Rec, House, Last Weekend Tonight, ect.
I am also looking for someone to go to show with. This is a must.
I used to have a huge list of bands here, but it became so long that I would rather just talk about it in person. I will say that my music enjoyment spreads over many genres, but that overall youll find me listening to hip hop, EDM, and most types of rock.
I used to be really picky, but working in restaurants has completely changed my perception on food. My eyes were opened to all types of different fare, and as a result I will pretty much try anything. So......To sum it up it all up; I love all food, except mashed yellow squash. Fuck that.
Good beer.....eeemmmmm beer
Bacon - self explanatory
Coffee - really, it's bad. I'm one cranky bastard without it.
My stupid phone - mostly because of work, but also because it's how we stay connected
Music - the soundtrack to Life
I'm also not just on here to just date. I'm also looking for people who like to do the same things I do and into doing some cool shit. Especially outdoors.
