My self-summary
I'm a playfully sarcastic energy attorney. I went to undergrad in DC, fell in love with the city, and stuck around for law school. I've been in DC for almost 9 years, and I am constantly surprised by how much and how quickly it has changed.

I love to cook. My favorite dishes to make are sesame seared tuna, pita chip-crusted chicken in a homemade honey mustard sauce, any type of stir fry with homemade hoisin sauce.

If I could do anything right now I would go skiing somewhere out west (Jackson Hole, Big Sky, Snowmass, Alta, Snowbird, Steamboat). I would kill to go skiing in Europe. I also love to play tennis and travel. I'm always looking for a tennis partner, so if you play let me know. Last year I was in Cuba, which was incredibly eye opening and changed the way I look at U.S.-Cuban relations.

When I go out I always try to mix it up. I don't like doing the same thing over and over again. Whenever possible I will go to new bars, clubs, restaurants, or areas that I've never been to before.

Every so often I try to take my camera and walk around DC taking pictures and listening to music that I recently downloaded. I also like taking midnight walks on the mall during the week because that is hands down the best time to go.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as an energy attorney in DC and setting the world record for cups of coffee consumed in one day
I’m really good at
1. Getting lost. I still use GPS when I'm back home in NY. Anytime I'm walking with someone I make them sign a disclaimer stating that i'm not liable for anything that happens as a result of my poor navigating.
2. Finding new bars, restaurants, coffee shops.
3. Listening
4. Being personable
5. Traveling
6. Sarcasm/teasing
The first things people usually notice about me
When I was little I looked exactly like Macaulay Culkin. I don't look nearly as much like him (fewf) now but in college I was once genuinely mistaken for him at 3am, and I gave the guy my autograph as Macaulay Culkin.

Jokes aside, I've been told that I have very animated facial expressions and expressive eyes.

Six things I could never do without
Music/my headphones
Strong coffee
Good food
A good dark and stormy, hefeweizen, or tequila
Sarcasm/teasing/witty conversations
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If Anthony Weiner was in his early 20's, would he use Tinder or Snapchat?

How many middle-aged men bought a rowing machine after watching Kevin Spacey in House of Cards?

What bars and restaurants I want to eventually open.

Why listening to music seems to help me solve most problems.

How many more years I can drink 10 cups of coffee a day without getting an ulcer

Environmental/energy issues

Human psychology

the US legal system

Why "unisex" is used to mean both genders
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually out and about with friends, hopefully doing something atypical.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a tattoo on my right shoulder blade.

I also don't like Nutella. Every time I've told someone I don't like Nutella they look at me as if i'm a leper, so i guess it's for the best that I admitted it online.
