My self-summary
These are some things that make me happy: hiking, building things, summer camp, tennis, board games, clean bed sheets, TV and movies, walking/jogging, being outside, chatting, getting really really into something (almost anything), food trucks, exploring, shopping, trivia, DragonCon, abandoned buildings, Wikipedia, Home Depot, video games, lists, business, science and technology, coercing my cat to walk on the treadmill.

I take good care of myself. I'm a decent cook. I almost never eat an entire box of ice cream sandwiches for dinner.

I prefer people who see the positive in life and appreciate what they have. But that doesn't stop me from being ambitious.

I'm a builder and a tinkerer - I built my kitchen cabinets from bare lumber, they look damn nice, and I still have all ten fingers.

I'm definitely interested in finding a serious relationship. That said, I'm also interested in meeting people who value friendship and are genuinely nice and intelligent. Even if turns out to be a walking/jogging/running/tennis partner, someone to hang out with every now and then, or nothing at all.
What I’m doing with my life
Some examples of things I'd have fun doing would be going to a farmer's market or a festival, staying in and watching a movie or a good series, walking around a park and throwing a frisbee, playing a party game, going for a road trip or to a museum, making a batch of ginger ale, assembling something from IKEA, reminiscing about a favorite TV show, or any kind of similarly wacky hi-jinks.

I aspire to travel. Do you want to go somewhere?
I’m really good at
Not taking myself too seriously. Admitting when I'm wrong. Getting lost without caring, or on purpose. Constantly coming up with inventions, business ideas, games, whatever.
The first things people usually notice about me
I go pretty much unnoticed. Like a geeky ninja. In my mind I'm handsome like Adrian Brody or Zach Braff. (My mind is a wonderful place!) In reality I look more like Clark Howard, or so people tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like dark dramas like Game of Thrones, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad; I appreciate the excellent writing and acting even if they're dark or gritty. But I also love shows like Arrested Development, Parks and Rec (a current fave - in season 6), 30 Rock, Downton Abbey, Mythbusters, Trailer Park Boys, and animated stuff like Futurama, Bob's Burgers, and King of the Hill. I'm a serious "How it's Made" addict. SNL has always been one of my favorite shows, even with it's ups and downs. I laugh my ass off at the stupidest stuff on there sometimes. I've also got a soft spot for classics like Seinfeld, MASH, and The Simpsons. Some recent favorites are 11.23.63, Narcos, and Regular Show.

I'd submit Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as an example of a movie I dig, and I consider Ferris Bueller's Day Off not only a magnum opus, but also a codex to live by. Forrest Gump is another classic I'd put up there. Interstellar is a recent favorite.

Music: A few randomly chosen artists you might find on my playlists: Lana Del Rey, Gorrillaz, Tracy Chapman, O.A.R., Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Cranberries, Sublime, 311, Moby, Blues Traveler.

Currently reading The Songs of Distant Earth by Arthur C Clarke - I like to read but I don't get through many books these days.
Six things I could never do without
Air, water, earth, fire, heart, ... kitty. By our powers combined ..

But seriously: enough sleep, friends, and something to keep me occupied? I think I could be happy without most of the material things I have.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How animals think. How much better the world would be if people talked more and weren't so afraid of each other. My latest, greatest business idea. What a cool guy Mr. Rogers was.
On a typical Friday night I am
I wish I could say "alway out doing wonderful exciting things", but a lot of times I fail to plan or can't find anything to do, and end up staying in and watching Netflix or goofing around on the computer. It's kind of why I'm here. Let's do something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wear underpants. Also, I shower completely nude.
You should message me if
