My self-summary
Hello, fellow Cupideers! I hope the hunting has been happy and healthy. My name is Mark - pleasure to meet ya. I'm originally from Odessa, TX *pause for groans, boos*, but moved to Los Angeles, CA as a very young man, and then to Austin about 10 years ago. I'm an actor, stand-up comic, photographer, podcaster and, more recently, a manager at a very successful company named after a piece of fruit. There are no words that I could write here that could make you understand me, but suffice it to say "WHAT?!" is a good start. My philosophy in life is, "don't be an asshole and everything will work out". It's safe to say that I'm an optimist as I've led a charmed life to say the least. I'm on the Cupid to meet interesting people, romance or not. Most of my friends are people I've known for decades - I'm always down for expanding my circle.
What I’m doing with my life
Whatever I want. I'm on career #3 at this point and I've enjoyed them all. There's too much to explore in this life to stick to just one thing. I'm exploring, but a bit more nested of late as my job is fucking awesome, challenging and very rewarding.
I’m really good at
answering stupid questions on OK cupid
The first things people usually notice about me
Tall, jokes, whimsy...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love movies, especially documentaries - I'm consistently more fascinated by truth than fiction.

Food is a huge passion for me. Most of what Americans eat is straight up poison. I make a conscious effort not to eat garbage as I feel spending more money on good food now will, ultimately, save me money on medical bills later in life. Also, once you eat truly quality food, it's very hard to see Taco Bell as edible again.

Music, oh music...too much going through my mind right now to write about this topic - you're gonna have to ask.
The six things I could never do without
Wow, What a question! I'm going to assume that the basic necessities of human life are not to be considered here, so.....I feel like I could do without quite a lot if I had to, but I'll try to make a list:
5.human contact
6.hope that tomorrow can be better than today
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Quantum chromodynamics
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying myself and others
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My ATM code is 1394. Please don't tell anyone.
You should message me if
You're not one of the members of this site that just wants to volley a couple messages back and forth, then never respond again/meet. If you're socially inept, don't bother. If you're down for adventure and want to have a pressure-free good time; hit me up!
