My self-summary
Hello ladyfolk

I'm new to this so be gentle... I would say I'm an excruciatingly laid back type who loves life's simple pleasures such as music, good food, seeing the world, being around friends and nature and most of all, laughing until I cry. I honestly think laughter is the best thing we have and I'm known for my cheeriness. I look for the positives in life but at the same time, am a good listener and genuinely compassionate about people.... I hate to see anyone upset and once I am close to someone, be it as a friend or a partner, I will do anything for them.

Before it all gets too trite, I'll say anything else ask away really :0) I'm a friendly and approachable chappie and well aware of the stigma of internet dating and the nerves/apprehensions people might have but you've gotta be in it to win it, as erm, absolutely no one ever said. Give me a click and let's see how it goes.
What I’m doing with my life
Having just finished my world tour of saving a burning puppy from a building in every continent (Antartica was a drag), I'm now back and have started up my own business, designing bespoke rabbit hutches. I'm looking for a female investor who knows a a bit about Feng Shui. Cos you just can't get the staff.
I’m really good at
That thing where you lean back and blow a Malteaser up in the air, been meaning to contact the Guinness Book of World Records in fact.

And not filling in dating website profiles, evidently... :p
The first things people usually notice about me
I have that unusual ability to recall something months, even years, later and burst out laughing at it where ever I may be, Admittedly, this does startle people.

I have middling intelligence but try to appear smarter by affecting a world-weary air and memorising usless statistics.

And the small patch of parsley growing out of the side of my forehead.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Me loves:
Comedy (usual suspects, you name the film and I'll roll off the quotes),

David Attenborough crap

90s dance/house

Currently reading:

Amateur pyschology (I can recommend "The Red Queen")

Intelligent newspapers (ongoing)

Estoy aprendiendo Espanol (try me)

Currently eating a lot of:

Protein. Ewwwwwww
Six things I could never do without
My passport, for if okcupid girls go crazy on me
Smartphone (yep, still in the Honeymoon period)
My aftershave
My lungs (is that 7?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why do you never see baby pigeons, why doesn't Tarzan have a beard, when the first ever dictionary was written, where did they get the words from, why do kamikaze pilots wear helmets etc etc etc....

I hope to one day time travel just so I can go back a week and slap myself in the face to see my reaction.
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling with friends. The sort of "chilling" that makes me read my online statement Monday morning and weep.

Failing that, I may just stay in and plot world domination.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was 3, I started chewing on a fur coat in a department store, sicked up my milk on it and then was promptly dragged away.

Debenhams I'm so sorry.
You should message me if
You're an old fashioned girl who is ladylike (ie not a Vicky Pollard), affectionate, caring, a bit wacky, been known to cry at the end of films, loves Saturday morning spoonings, is terrified of insects and you're the sort who would run with scissors.

Daily Mail reading, curtain twitching, hand wringing, easily offended sanctimonious types need not apply.

(Blimey, I don't half put some pressure on meself...) ;)
