My self-summary
If it were possible to be a theatre nut, a political junkie, a huge sports fan, and a hardcore nerd all rolled into one, that would be me. Luckily, that's not possible.

In all seriousness, I am every one of those things I listed, and maybe even a little more. I'm a passionate person who is passionate about enjoying life, no matter what I am doing. I love joking around and bullshitting just as much as I love having an intense conversation about foreign policy over drinks at a bar or sitting down for a night of gaming. I'm right on the border between extroverted and introverted and tend to show qualities of both, depending on the day.
What I’m doing with my life
After a six month stint in Florida at an Acting Apprenticeship, I'm back in the wonderful Northwest and loving it. I'm currently working on building my acting resume (for graduate school auditions and otherwise) while following the actor stereotype of working at a restaurant.
I’m really good at
Listening. It's just about the best skill you can have, in my opinion, since it's what allows you to become good at other things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor. I'm quirky and quick-witted and I love to laugh. I firmly believe that everything can be funny in the right light, it's just a matter of finding that light.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Most everything by George R.R. Martin, Patrick Rothfuss, Orson Scott Card (just don't remind me about his politics), Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, Brandon Sanderson, and Terry Pratchett, to name a few. Generally fantasy and sci-fi anything, but also something that will make me think.

Shows: Doctor Who, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Community, Arrested Development, Archer, Wilfred.

Movies: I don't watch nearly enough movies, but I'll give it a try. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, any of Eddie Izzard's stand-up routines, The Princess Bride, Young Frankenstein, anything Pixar or Pixar-related (not named Cars), good Disney (shut up), musicals, Star Wars, Star Trek, Serenity, most of Tarantino's stuff, most of Nolan's stuff, half of Kevin Smith's stuff, and anything with the following actors: Tom Hanks, Natalie Portman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Meryl Streep (except Mamma Mia. That was awful...just awful).

Music: I'll give anything a shot until it's terrible, but I mostly listen to classic and acoustic rock.

Food: Food.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Clever responses to these blurbs while I figure out what to write.

Acting, video games, philosophy, psychology, stream of consciousness, comic books, girls, movies, TV, novels, space, more space, art, the Facebook Privacy Policy, did I mention space?, why on earth so many of my friends have been getting engaged recently, everything, most things, things that don't appear on Reddit, and cats.

And Hugh Jackman.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably doing something different than what I did last Friday night. Unless I'm in a show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Je ne sais pas que ceci signifie, et si vous m'avez demandé de le faire encore, je ne peux pas sans un ordinateur. ¡Mais les félicitations sur la traduction!
You should message me if
You're fun, down-to-earth, and up for a good laugh. And maybe an adventure or two.
