My self-summary
I’ve got a great job and a place of my own. I eat well, exercise and my friends trust me with their homes, kids, money and the dirt they don’t share with anyone else.

I love to cook, write, dance, read, travel, play board games, talk, and laugh until my face hurts. The little things matter to me, and I go out of my way to make sure my loved ones get the best of what I have to offer.
What I’m doing with my life
I work, hang with friends, enjoy live music, museums, restaurants, comedy clubs, take photography, exercise, and try to maintain the delicate balance between adventure and rest and relaxation.
I’m really good at
Writing, cooking, drawing, listening, math, physics, fixing things, bringing out the best in people, giving massages, critical thinking, soccer, tennis, hiking, canoeing, and letting it all go to be extra silly and goofy.
The first things people usually notice about me
"... he's good people."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Way too many favs but for starters..

Books: Les Mis, Zorba the Greek, Maltese Falcon, Count of Monte Cristo, and anything by Bukowski, Camus or Tom Robbins.

Movies: Australia, Clerks, Goonies, Kung Fu Hustle, Ratatouille, Amelie, Casablanca and a bunch of Indie films no one's heard of.

Shows: Globe Trekker, Iron Chef, Key & Peele, Broad City, Sherlock, Always Sunny, Dr. House, Dr. Katz, Dr. Who, and Dr. Huxtable

Music: Beatles, Beastie Boys, Flashbulb, Gary Clark Jr., XX, Diana Krall, Tom Waits, Brahms, garage bands, jazz and blues.

Food: Creole, Greek, Spanish, Italian, Indian, Japanese, Thai, Peruvian, and my favorite -> French
The six things I could never do without
Music, fine foods, my lucky hat, my camera, my down comforter and my toolbox.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My family, my friends, work, exercise, love, romance, recipes, cooking, art, literature, sex, what would make the world a better place, snow, rain, beaches, mountains, self-actualization, what life is like in other countries, why men and women seem to be at odds when they're meant to be counterparts... and mostly... why other people are NOT thinking?
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends or home cooking, and occasionally I sneak into the gym or the library because nobody's there.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cried in Private Ryan, have been caught singing Private Dancer, and I always wanted to be a Private Eye.
You should message me if
You're genuine, smart and dynamic. You're serious about the things that matter and love to laugh and have fun with the rest.
