My self-summary
This is such a bizarre concept and if only it were true. Anyway, I think I'm looking initially for someone to "hang" with. Someone to go to sporting events or take a hike or see some of the events around town. If things click, then let's hang at home(s) as well, learn about each other's families and start a history together.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now my main focus is work really. Glad to have a job and I love what I do. Other than that I'm a new grandmother of a 3 year old little girl. That's the main stuff.
I’m really good at
being content and having fun. I'm also good at . . . now I think of it, I'm good at games, cooking, cleaning, yard work, numbers, finance and armchair athlete. Moreover, what am I bad at? Mechanical/technological intelligence, suck at it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite books? Always the one I'm reading, so now that would be "Descendants" by Hemming and "Big Short" by Michael Lewis. Then "Once and Future King", "You Can Heal Your Life", "Firefox", "Tai-Pan", "Angels and Demons" . . .

Favorite movies? "Lawrence of Arabia", "Defending Your Life", "Matrix", "Finding Nemo", "Terminator", "Day After Tomorrow", "2012", "Descendants" . . .

Favorite music? It's just as eclectic as my books and movies, but I find I listen to rock over country, ethnic over folk, and classical over new age.

Favorite food . . . there are very few food items I can't or won't eat . . . beets being one, bugs being another . . .
The six things I could never do without
Trite, but number one is my family.
Two, my coffee
Three, a good laugh
Four, a great autumnal hike
Five, golf
Six, hot running water, oh and a washing machine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Well, at this age, what am I doing here . . . no, I mean HERE. Politics are a big source of thought these days as well, then there's vacations, spiritual concepts . . . yada, yada, yada.
On a typical Friday night I am
at home on the couch! Maybe that sounds lame, but it's probably my favorite time and place of the week. It use to be going out at all costs was the deal, but since I let that go, I love being home on a Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't imagine . . . I like raw oysters (but won't eat them anymore due to certain organisms now making them their domain).
You should message me if
you like writing and you wanna.
