My self-summary
I'm a hobbit. I love good food, drink, and reefer, and prefer having company to being alone. I like to be comfortable, and my home usually has some reflection of that. I do have an adventurous streak, however, and love to be outside camping, hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, or just taking in the sunshine.
What I’m doing with my life
Takin 'er easy fer all us sinners.
Moved out of the mountains down to Boulder in order to get a job at a brewery. Now, I live with my dog and my awesome roommates, pursuing a career path in brewing. I camp, snowboard, brew, or game on the weekends, as time and weather permit. Otherwise, just trying to keep up with everybody I love.

More recently I've found myself alongside a lady who encourages me not to let her hold me down... In fact I've been catching a little flak for not bringing any cute girls home lately. So whether you want to hang with just me or both of us, nobody will have a problem with that. We're both nerds who like to do nerdy things, and sexy things, especially when one leads to the other. (Strip Magic is always fun)
I’m really good at
Snowboarding steeps, though I'm awful at the park and tend to avoid it.
Cooking lunch and dinner. Breakfast not so much. But I'm pretty proud of my Chicken Alfredo.
Giving a shit about people. I feel like not enough people are.
The first things people usually notice about me
My beard, although these days I keep it pretty tame... more observant folk might notice that I am almost never without a hat.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Band of the week (or however often I update it):
The Main Squeeze

I think Ender's Game might still hold the place as my favorite book. Competing for other spots on the podium would be Dune, Sabriel (and sequels), Lord of the Rings, Song of Ice and Fire, Hitchhiker's...

For movies Scrapple definitely is my favorite, but nobody ever knows what it is. The Big Lebowski definitely comes in second. Beyond that... Star Wars, Riddick, Amelie, Mel Brooks, Cheech and Chong, Black Dynamite, Princess Mononoke (and other Miyazakis). Snow porn.

As for TV I'll admit I'm mostly a man of the cartoons. Venture Bros, Futurama, Adventure Time, Last Airbender, etc. I get around to other shows now and then, but lately nothing has really grabbed me. Except Workaholics.

Music, oh god music. This one goes all over the place. I guess we'll start with basics like Led Zeppelin, Floyd, and Tool. When I'm snowboarding or working hard, I lean more towards punk, especially Bad Religion, Offpspring, etc. On a snowy morning it will be more like Royksopp, Modest Mouse, Boombox, Ratatat, Lindsey Stirling... Other niches would include things like Cymande, Bran Van 3000, Bittersweet, Nightmares on Wax, Eric Clapton, Santana... I swear I could go on all day. Best just catch me in a given mood and ask me then.
Six things I could never do without
1. My dog - Conrad
2. Powder days
3. Camping trips
4. Best friends
5. Tasty beer
6. Herb to make my back not hurt
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things that are going to happen in my book, snowboarding, camping, brewing, backrubs, girls.
Why radio in the city sucks compared to small town local radio.
On a typical Friday night I am
cooking a delicious meal for my roommates and closest friends, drinking delicious craft beers, smoking bowls, and loving everybody. Making sure my gear and lunch are ready for the next morning's snowboarding.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate sushi *and* beans. I know, I'm the strangest man on the planet. As if not liking one wasn't enough.
