My self-summary
Intelligent, witty, self-deprecating, considerate, honest, rational, and obviously super-modest. Never married, no kids (did have a cat), very slight unidentified European accent (me, not the cat… the cat was a native English-speaker).

Love the outdoors, especially whitewater rafting, endurance hikes, camping, etc. I don't club, and I'm not big on bars (dive bars can be ok once in a long while). I also don’t watch a lot of TV, though I do watch a good amount of movies... Aaand that's where I'm going to leave it for now... I'll come back to this part once the rest of this gigantic profile is filled out.
What I’m doing with my life
What AM I doing with my life? I... am teaching Electronics & Fabrication, Intro To Engineering, and Industrial Design at a SJ high school.

Sometimes I freelance as an Industrial Prototyping Consultant, and during the summer I moonlight as a Curriculum Developer for companies teaching Engineering to kids. It all sounds much fancier than it really is.

A few years ago I got into running whitewater rivers, and now I'm hopelessly addicted. As a side effect, most of my OKC photos are now stills from GoPro clips :\

Writing music is something I've kind of always just done. It's mostly heavy and melodic, and almost always instrumental. I tend to wind up in a band with quality musicians every few years and usually that's when my stuff gets recorded.

I (along with a team) competed in Robotic Combat (Battlebots) for about a decade. Currently waiting to see if the reboot is TV-stable, before I form another team, seek sponsorship, etc.

I have a number of other hobbies and interests, most of them having to do with tech, fabrication, and combat sports. Mostly I just love designing, problem-solving, and working with my hands.
I’m really good at
Haha, oh good... the bragging section.

A few years ago I learned that a river can keep you from breathing while it tries to steal your belongings. I am getting pretty good at not letting either of those things happen.

I can design, build, or fix almost anything. And if I can't fix it, I can at least finish breaking it for you.

I possibly don't 100% suck at writing music...
