My self-summary
I'm in my first year at Marquette Law. I love history and politics (my two majors in undergrad) and enjoy reading and spending time with friends. I'm always up a trip to the bowling alley, followed by adventuring around Milwaukee.
What I’m doing with my life
Learning the law, plotting my future, and working at a fantastic bar in downtown Milwaukee.
I’m really good at
All things political. I love intellectual arguments, causal discourse, and the oxford comma. (obviously) I love to ride my bike around the city, exploring and searching for classy places to enjoy.
The first things people usually notice about me
My snarky attitude? My brand of humor isn't for everyone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read lots of books on history and politics. My favorite genre is historical nonfiction, focusing on authoritarian regimes. Some of my favorites:

Mao: A Life
Young Stalin
Darkness at Noon
The Real North Korea

I enjoy other genres too!

A Song of Ice and Fire Series
Y: The Last Man

I tend to watch lots of HBO and Showtime.

I listen to Indie Rock and Oldies mostly.

I enjoy making new dishes, but I'm no expert.
Six things I could never do without
A sense of direction
Classy clothes
Interesting people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my future, current events and world politics, and how I'm going to spend my ever diminishing free time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out bowling or shooting pool with my friends, making dinner or getting into mischief.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
For years I made fun of Nicolas Cage. Then my friends and I decided to force ourselves to watch a bunch of his movies. They moved on, but I became a closet fan. Now when I can't get them to watch some Cage movies with me, I watch them by myself. It's...a tough life.
You should message me if
You want to hear a semi-humorous story about the law. It's one of the best parts of law school.
