My self-summary
I am sensitive, empathetic, spontaneous, fun-loving, and sometimes silly. I like to make other people laugh, though it depends on who I am with and how I get sparked. I am loving and have a great capacity for going deep, probably due to certain important influences in my life. I am grateful that I have a life that I can live in the way I want for the most part. I think love is the prime motivator for me even in challenging circumstances and sometimes with challenging people, who actually turn out to be some of my greatest teachers who round out my life with the most worthwhile experiences. I am fairly happy and content and my love for music gives me purpose and is the thread that runs through it all.
What I’m doing with my life
I believe I am fulfilling my life long passion with music and am grateful that I have my health and time to be able to pursue this in the way I want. Also, giving back to the community in service, singing gospel music is an uplifting experience for the audience and for the performer. I love to travel which is another one of my greatest joys because I get to meet people from other cultures, which expands my perspective. And as well, just living in a city center like San Francisco can accomplish the same result.
I’m really good at
I really like hanging-out with other people, kind of a social butterfly. I'm into interaction, being spontaneous as I like to improvise. I believe I am a good listener, have a lot of empathy... Used to work in the mental health field. I am also artistic and creative and play music professionally and have cultivated my own style over the years and still continue to play out.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, smile and out-going and compassionate nature
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read newspapers, magazines and try to stay current with political and social events. I like all kinds of music, except if it's too loud. Trying to be funny here. I like spinach, tomato and cheese crepes! Though lately seven-layer burritos at taco bell. l love all kinds of food actually, from the swanky to the practical... dining in or out - korean, japanese, chinese, vietnamese, french, mediterranean, mexican, which is one of the perks living in San Francisco. There are always several different kinds of restaurants within a one block radius.
Six things I could never do without
love, peace, health, happiness (for the most part), good food and exercise, friends and family (not necessarily in that order)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about what kind of world that future generations will inherit and how in my own small way can make it a better place. How I will find love again with one special person when I have most everything else which I am very grateful for. How I am going to deal with living in a major urban center as someone who is trying to gracefully grow older. How I am going to continue to find a creative outlet for my music as well as other activities and how long my health and vitality will hold up in pursuit of this.
On a typical Friday night I am
I usually dine-out, go to a movie, gig, hang-out at home, kick back and watch something on cable, work on the computer or wood shed (practice my music). I could be doing most anything depending on what strikes me in the moment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I don't want to leave any stone unturned and live life large hoping to accomplish what I set out to do or at least can say I've tried.
You should message me if
you are more on the fem side, matching more or less in my weight and size category and have artistic leanings. I'm not much into religion, but I consider myself a spiritual eclectric. I don't mind if you are somewhat religious, but have an open mind.
