My self-summary
I can cook, I can dance, and I've been told I'm pretty damn charming. Looking forward to settling down in a few years, but let's enjoy life together while we still can a bit, yeah?
What I’m doing with my life
For most of my 20s, I helped companies and investors figure out new technologies and how they can effectively use them. It was a lot of fun and gave me the freedom not to spend my 30s stuck in a typical 9-5 gig.

Now my days are mostly filled with equal parts tinkering on Virtual Reality, cooking, and keeping in touch with friends.
I’m really good at
Board games, keeping my cool under pressure, and various things best not said in polite conversation but which can be a lot of fun.

Kissing is definitely one of the things.
The first things people usually notice about me
In conversation, I go deep on almost every subject that comes up.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Lots of non-fiction, focusing mostly on the intersection of politics, business, geography, and the media. The best way to find out what I'm reading is to ask.

Movies: I watch nearly everything that comes out, but favourites would include The Incredibles, Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Rock, Silence of the Lambs, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Mulholland Drive, Die Hard, Speed, Office Space.

My favorite TV shows: TNG, Review With Forrest MacNeil, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Bojack Horseman, Stranger Things, Archer.

My favorite bands: Beck, Bowie, Kanye, The Rolling Stones, The Go! Team, The New Pornographers, Maximo Park, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Fleetwood Mac, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens.

Food: I make a pretty mean Thai Chicken.
Six things I could never do without
Supportive friends, hot meals, cold drinks, good music, my passport, a notepad.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How people interact, and how that interaction is increasingly becoming mediated and shaped by technology. Online dating is one example - this isn't really how people met as recently as 10 years ago. It's fascinating to think about how different features and options change how people do the whole courtship thing in the 21st Century, and how unintended or unexpected behaviour can result from the decisions on what features to include or not.

This is all to say that I think OkTrends is fucking awesome.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a nice dinner with friends, then going out for dancing, karaoke, or staying in with Netflix and video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not sure if self-awareness is a blessing or a curse.
You should message me if
You're looking for more than a fling.
