My self-summary
Be not afraid of moving slowly;
be afraid only of standing still.

I appreciate things which take a long time to build; I have a lot of respect for craftsmen who have spent time patiently working at and improving their craft.

Can do sarcasm quite well, but prefer sincerity.

Artists are my favorite creatures. Such a lovely, sad, hilarious, insane thing to do with one's life.

We all got issues...

I am obsessed with the Goldberg Variations.

I live with an open heart, even when it hurts.

Bringing harmony to the world.
(Yes, that is my job.)

I wonder if it's possible to find an integration of intimacy and authentic spiritual practice.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
There is a kind of sculpture where the artist starts with a wire frame in the approximate shape of his intention. He starts pressing bits of clay onto the frame, smoothing the bits together with his fingers, and adding more bits. Eventually he will arrive at his intended shape, just by adding a little bit at a time.
