My self-summary
I used to be a minimalist, a side effect from moving frequently in school. Now that I intend to stay put for a while, I’ve accumulated stuff (including a light-bulb changing system). Things I’m addicted to: books (my bookshelves reside in public libraries); jokes (I have one and a half reliable sources, but could use a couple backups); lists (even read a book called “Ten Fun Things to Do before You Die”, written by a nun. Should have stopped at #6, when ‘thinking about nuns’ was suggested); sweets (two thirds of my food pyramid, and the rest is caffeine); NPR (have 5 radios at home all tuned to FM90. 9/89. 7. The 5th is a portable.); Podcast.
I'm looking for someone who is: witty, neat, reasonably fit, does not count on winning the lottery as part of the life-improving scheme.

What I’m doing with my life
Tell stories based on numbers.
I’m really good at
being modest ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
Ask 'people', not me!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: “Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy”, “In a Sunburned Country”, “Enchantment”, “Maurice”, “Lamentations of the Father”, “Cold Comfort Farm”, “Bel Canto”, “They Call Me Naughty Lola: Personal Ads from the London Review of Books”, most stuff by P.G. Wodehouse.

Food: Haagen Daz rum raisin, dark chocolate, cherry, Shanghainese food, a perfect poached egg, croissant, azuki cream.

Movies: Went through top 100 film lists, consequently watched an unhealthy amount of war movies, a mistake. Films I remember fondly: Usual Suspects, MASH, This is Spinal Tap. The worst couple of hours were spent on: Last Tango in Paris.

Music: Andrew Bird, The Beatles, Belle & Sebastian, Billy Joel, Ella Fitzgerald, Feist, Fountains of Wayne, Mozart, Neko Case, The Shins, Yo-Yo Ma.
The six things I could never do without
Public library, ‘Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me’!, logic, chocolate, podcast, why 6?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
tonight: how to hang a 12-lb picture.
