My self-summary
I'm a guy entering his 30s and looking at the world from new angles. I've lived in the St. Louis area since 2003, but my family is from the Chicago area.

I can be rather sarcastic and my personal sense of humor seems to be a big hit with those in their early 20s (not quite sure if that works in my favor, but there you go).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently attending Webster University for my master's in Advertising and Marketing Comm.

I have a group of friends that meet up weekly to play table-top RPGs. It's rather fun if you don't mind having to role-play the occasional princess.
I’m really good at
Listening to people talk about their personal experiences without them fearing interruption; offering advice and support to friends and strangers.

I've been told I'm rather adept at making people laugh and feel more comfortable in awkward situations.
The first things people usually notice about me
Good question...probably that I'm tall, maybe the beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read regularly. Mostly fiction; some non-fiction. I'm a big fan of Sci-fi/ Fantasy books. Currently reading The Magicians by Lev Grossman.

Movies: I have an eclectic taste in films. Depends on my mood, but I can be down for just about anything.

Shows: I watch a number of shows and I'm always looking for something new. Lately I've been watching the CW; the Arrowverse, Supernatural and most recently Riverdale. It's quite good.

Music: Like film, I enjoy a wide range of music (depending on my mood).

Food: I like food. I think that sums it up nicely. I am not a fan of mushrooms or tomatoes.
Six things I could never do without
A few things that I would not do without would be: a book (either physical or Kindle), my phone, a few close friends, and my imagination. Not six, but that's all I've got right now.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The correlation between being a Dungeon Master and a professional cat herder, both require a great deal of patience.

How our society could become as polarized as it is currently and what we can do to turn this around and make it better for everyone.

Why I seem to only receive messages from people who are less than a 50% match and have nothing in common with me. Like what exactly do you think is going to happen here?
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not working, I'll be getting food and catching up on some shows, working on homework, reading and/or prepping for an RPG I'll be running soon for my gaming group.
You should message me if
If we share a high match percentage and if it seems like our personalities would be compatible.

Please do not message me if you identify with the "Alt-Right" or support the Trump administration.
