My self-summary
My name is Andrew and I'm a walking contradiction. I tend to seek out pleasure and avoid pain, though I'm not sure why. Sometimes I think that I know things, but then later I come to my senses. I have also been known to laugh at my own reflection. It seems as appropriate a response as any other, don't you think?

Being laid back, meeting new people, exploring new cities, sounding intelligent, diffusing tension, procrastinating, reading and writing, hiking and biking, debating, playing and designing video games, photo-bombing, swimming, listening and giving advice, playing with animals, drawing, teaching, etc.
The first things people usually notice about me

The absurdity of it all. Haha. Boohoo.

How much longer until my next rave?

If we know that some degree of suffering is necessary for well-being (e.g. satisfaction requires effort, thrill requires risk, love requires fear of loss, meaning requires mortality, etc.) then where does that leave us in terms of "making the world a better place"?

Why is it socially acceptable to eat some animals and not others?

How can I justify my next leisure activity knowing that around 15 children have needlessly died in the time it took me to type this sentence?

Do I think too much? Or not enough?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
