My self-summary
Gingers don't have souls? Well that's bullshit. I have a freckle for every soul I've stolen..

In a nutshell I'm a working creative (not the struggling starving artist type... Those years are behind me). Born and raised in Australia, wanted to move to New York since I was 12, did it at 26. Been commited to my photography career since picking up a camera at 16. I feel really fortunate to make a living doing what I love that allows me to travel and collaborate with people I usually read about. I'd go insane doing a desk job. Might seem restless but I keep my feet on the ground.
What I’m doing with my life
Photographer. After university, carved out a career in Australia before risking it all and starting again in New York City 7 years ago. Never regretted a day since. Used to work as assistant manager of a studio facility, now I pretty much live on set in the fashion advertising world (but probably the most un-fashion type of individual). Unforgiving hours but I get to do what I love every day. Mainly into shooting fashion, music editorial and portraits in a classic Irving Penn / Anton Corbijn style, while doing music documentation as a labor of love. I'll be releasing my first book soon of ten years of music photography.

A sometimes illustrator and also
film programmer and designer for an art deco repertory / revival theater that is the last of its kind. Once it's gone, celluloid will never be shown in that city again.

Living in the best city in the world but wanting to follow the exodus of creatives out west to LA, my second home (outside of Australia that is).
I’m really good at
Making lists
Dancing longer than you can
Quoting seemingly random pop culture facts at appropriate moments.

The six things I could never do without
My Cameras
Projects to work on
My friends back home
Film / Polaroid
Laffy Taffy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
About five projects at once.
On a typical Friday night I am
Looking for adventure, hitting a show, possibly dancing somewhere, spilling whiskey on your shoes. I have a thing for hidden cocktail bars (not PDT, that's for tourists). In colder months, inclined to stay in, cook and program a movie marathon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Spiders terrify me.
You should message me if
Your not quick to judge and want to take random adventures, check out new places, go appreciate some art, thrash to a band, dance all night, hear jazz in a basement bar, lie in a park or just take it easy, stare at the ceiling and compare notes on life.
