My self-summary
Hello there!

I Just moved back to Sydney after 12 or so months in Melbourne. Before that I was in Canberra for 18 months. I also lived in Melbourne for a year between 2011-2012...I did however grow up in Sydney - so I'm back home! I work for a global consumer goods company in sales and marketing, hence all the moving around.

So I'm (kind of ) new here and looking to meet some people. Happy to make new friends or perhaps something more, just giving this online thing a go. On re-read that is probably the most cliche statement I've ever written. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
What I’m doing with my life
Work consumes a reasonable amount of it (like most) but I do enjoy my job overall.

I eat out a fair bit but also enjoy cooking. I really enjoy trying weird and wonderful foods, or the same foods prepared in a weird and wonderful way.

Like most, I travel when time permits. It's ironic; when I had time to travel I had no money, now I have money but no time! I do try to get overseas once a year though, and sneaky weekends away are always welcome.
I’m really good at
Too many things. It's hard being as talented as I am.

That is, for the record, sarcasm (in case you were wondering). This is a difficult question to answer! I suppose I'm good at some things and terrible at others. I'll let you know once I'm finished soul searching.
The first things people usually notice about me
My good looks, charm, wit and humility.

If you read that and realised it was sarcasm, let's be friends.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Very broad taste in all. I'd have to say Korean or Japanese food are two of my favourites.

Music? A of bit techno and deep/ambient house, some IDM, a bit of D&B...pretty eclectic overall actually. I don't like music snobs though. I won't judge you if you pump Lady Gaga or listen to the most obscure bands in an alley in Brunswick. I also expect to not be judged on my music taste; music is subjective and that's what makes it awesome.

I do read books and watch movies/TV shows as well, but there are genuinely too many to mention.
Six things I could never do without
It's all relative when you think about it. I'm sure what I believe I couldn't do without would seem ridiculous to many others. Say a child in Western Africa for example. Or on the flipside, one of the heirs to Gina Rhinehart's fortune.

Both would scoff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Work, relationships (platonic and romantic), politics, people, why the sky is blue...everything.

Lately, just how racist/sexist/homophobic/judgemental/materialistic/shallow most people are without even realising it. I mean, even good people are usually some of these things.

It's kind of depressing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually with friends, either having a beer or a nice meal. Occasionally at home doing absolutely nothing due to the lack of sleep and large amount of work and travel during the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was lying when I answered the question about what people notice about me.

I also once dressed as Conchita Wurst for a dress up party. If you're my dream girl, I'll give you all the pictures.
You should message me if
You enjoy a good laugh, like being fairly random and enjoy intelligent conversation.

An opinion is always appreciated, especially one that differs from mine. Just be able to back it up please?

With all that said I don't really have a type and I love to be challenged. So shoot me a message if you want to chat, laugh or just yell at me. It's all good.

The one caveat to that is intelligence. As I enter my twilight years, I've grown to appreciate intelligent, sarcastic and witty people.
