My self-summary
My name is Erica. I love art (especially drawing, painting and photography), music, history, philosophy, psychology, genealogy, cooking and traveling! I've been to Quebec, Germany and Ireland. I am always up for an adventure!

I am an avid antique collector! My great grandfather was an auctioneer for 75 years and collected so many amazing things. Obviously his passion rubbed off on me! I collect antique photos, antique cameras and autographs from dead/alive celebrities. My favorite autograph in my collection is from Bela Lugosi, Dracula himself!

I am a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and a Certificate to teach Art for grades K-12. I'm currently a substitute teacher, but actively looking for a full time teaching position.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently finished up a year long substitute position as an elementary art teacher. I am hoping to find something permanent very soon!

In my spare time I am often out taking photos. I have a small photography business and have done weddings, family shoots, graduation photos, head shots...etc. I also love taking pictures of nature and animals. I am also a volunteer cemetery photographer for a website called Find A Grave.

I have a tiny Genealogy business where I help people find their family history and similar information.
I’m really good at
Photography, painting, drawing, tracing ancestry, and cooking. I love to cook new things! Also, I've been told, by my current students, that they wish their "actual" art teacher would not return next year because they like me better. So, I guess I'm a pretty good teacher, lol.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What it will be like when I am finally an art teacher with my own classroom. Or I think about what it will be like if I could make my dream come true and be a professional photographer with my own studio!
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet night to myself after a long work week.
You should message me if
if you want to know more about me or see something in my profile that you really like :)
