My self-summary
I'm a west coast transplant, but I've been on the east coast for nearly a decade now. I'm in Boston for grad school, and joined this site in hopes of meeting people outside of my program...humans with real lives who do real things outside of the walls of a library.

A few things about me these days:
- I just learned to ride a bike in the city (I'm horrible at it!)
- I love maps...I have 6 in my bedroom alone, which leads me to my next point...
- I'm an IR junkie and could argue global politics until the cows come home
- I love campy/gory horror flicks and spy-thrillers.
- I make the BEST tomato-sauce/arrabiata from scratch you'll ever taste. I promise (that promise only goes to people who enjoy the finer things in life, like spicy food, garlic and a good whiskey or red wine).
What I’m doing with my life
Grad school slaving
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Book: Cat's cradle, Johnny got his gun, Paradise Lost, 100 years of solitude, The Company
Favorite Movie: Goodfellas, Lord of the Rings trilogy, and my guilty pleasure...trashy romcoms. The movie 'Wrong Turn" was both terrifying and hilarious at the same time, and I'm a horror film cult-classic lover.
Favorite Show: Arrested Development, MadMen, Game of thrones, the League, the walking dead, Veep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a compulsive need to read the last chapter of a book before I begin.
You should message me if
You're looking for something more significant than a casual fling. And if a first date debating current events over a nice aged bourbon sounds like an ideal time.
