My self-summary
I love fan-fiction, video-games, reading, my computer, my family, and my friends. I am anti-social until I am convinced to open up, or if I am secure that I will never meet you/see you again (I talk to random strangers when waiting in line, sometimes much more than I would to a friend.). I am fairly smart, but not that great at applying it to my daily life. I mean, I don't study much at all and I get pretty decent grades...but I feel unintelligent. I love taking quizzes to see other's perspectives about me, or to learn something new about myself. I have a and AO3 account under the same name, AnnAisu.
I am a loyal friend, and although I will not initiate anything, I will never betray nor abandon my friends...I just hate talking over the phone.
While I am on the internet, I am not afraid to admit stuff. In real life, I am. So, feel free to say whatever and do not worry about me being disgusted...if you give me the same consideration. I promise it will not irreparably change my viewpoint of you. Especially since I am rather...odd....myself.
Just a note: If you want to meet in real life, try to think of someway to prove your not hiding behind false pictures. Send a picture of your driving license or other form of ID, please.
Note: my IM is broken.
I find intellect and words more attractive than physical aesthetics.
I wonder just how OkCupid accurately predicted my energy level on the personality profiling...though it might be a slight exaggeration.
What I’m doing with my life
Going to college, reading, writing, playing video games... and having fun.
I’m really good at
Writing. That is the only thing I can say with confidence I am good at. I am alright at playing games, mostly RPGs. (My strategy is to grind and level up so the enemies have no chance, as I am incredibly slow at reacting and making decisions.) I am good at reading, although it must be interesting or else I will not remember the details; if it is interesting, ask me about it years later, see all of what I can remember once my memory is jogged. I would like to say that I am good with computers, but that is only true in the sense that they seem to work when I am nearby. I don't know much about them, although I would love to and am taking classes on them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am fairly quiet and tend to fade into the background. (Unless I am bored, excited, or stressed, and then I can ramble on randomly for quite some time.) I dislike making decisions. My dark exterior hides a heart of...well, not quite gold....but it's certainly not brass. I am sarcastic and appreciate a sharp wit, dry humor, and sarcasm.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Be warned! Long post ahead.
Books: I love fantasy-fiction, sci-fi, and fanfiction. Since I picked up a part time job in the library and started college, non-fiction has become much more interesting to me. My favorite authors are: Tamora Pierce, Anne McCaffery, James Patteron (the Maximum Ride series), Christopher Paolini, Orson Scott Card, and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. None of those are in any particular order save for the first and last; those are my absolute favorites. I also like the Harry Potter series, though I prefer the fanfiction to cannon (see my profile at under the same name for examples). I;m currently entering the Dark Hunter series. Not to sure yet.
Manga/Anime: Yatta! (Translation- Yay! Approximately) Well, I read shounen, shouji, and seinin (For boys, girls, and men respectively). Naruto, Bleach, FMA (Full Metal Alchemist), Death Note, Trigun, D.Gray-Man, 1/2 Prince, Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, 07 Ghost, Alive: the Final Evolution, Amatsuki, Angel Sanctuary, Ao no excorsist (blue excorsist), Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler), Claymore, Casshern, Fruits Basket, Inuyasha, Kekkaishi, O-Parts Hunter, Parasyte, Uragiri wa Boku no Namae (Betrayal knows my name), and Nurarihyon no Mago (Grandson of Nurarihyon). *breathes sigh of relief* I love manga. That does not encompass all I read, but those are my favorites...I have a excel documenting most I have read and like.
Movies: Avengers! I love the Marvel Universe, especially Iron Man and Thor (And by Thor, I mean Loki.) Doctor Who, Star Trek TOS, Star Wars, Mulan, Mythbusters...yeah, that's about it recently.
Music: I love rock. I love Evanescence, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, and Owl City. The 80's, 90's, 00's...I'm pretty cool with whatever, I guess. My sister forced me to listen to country, so I can handle that...unless it's old country. You know, I lost everything country?
Food: Omnivore. LOL, I saw that somewhere else and thought it worked well. I don't particularly care for spicy foods, but I am willing to try new food...after you test it first.
The six things I could never do without
3-Reading, writing, and my computer. I can handle 1 or 2, but not all 3
4-Water...and not just for survival purposes. If I could survive without water, I would still post it here.
5-Fanfiction; whether I am reading it or writing it, one or the other.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, death, myself, others, nature, the mind, thinking, fanficiton, time, working out pieces of my next stories, trying to puzzle out my mind, formulating better inner defenses... you want specifics? I could write essays on every topic I just listed... just one message away.
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading fanfiction.
...and...nope, that's about it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I am in an unfamiliar situation, I will follow around somebody like a giant, lost puppy. I hate the comparison, but I am passissive and I will just follow their can also happen at work if there is a co-worker that seems to know what they are doing... Just my insecurities popping up again. However, don't mistake my passivity for helplessness; I am very passive-aggressive as well.
