My self-summary
I label myself an anarcho-dandyist. I lead a fun life with a professional attitude.
What I’m doing with my life
During daylight I develop software. In my spare time I make music, may work on a video game, or try to make the world a weirder place in some other way.
I’m really good at
Listening. Observing. Making absurd, interesting or inappropriate comments. Not being polite. Seeing both sides of an argument.
The first things people usually notice about me
The tin-foil hat I wear to prevent Them from reading my thoughts. My wandering eyes, sweaty forehead and deranged grin; all giving the impression of paranoia and/or an acute cocaine shock.

OK, for real: it really depends on my mood. I may seem very outspoken, or quite, or silly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books by Terry Pratchett, Hunter Thompson, Stanislaw Lem and some of Nietzsche's work. Movies by Woody Allen and Pixar. Music from many different artists. I am genre-agnostic and like media that is clearly pop but also artsy stuff. As for TV shows I prefer the tragic and absurd ones: Breaking Bad, Adventure Time, The Americans, Robot Chicken, Rick and Morty.

I think this excerpt from Robert Musils "Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften" is still as true today as it was when he wrote it:

Six things I could never do without
I am inclined to say that there is nothing that I could not live without, if I absolutely had to.

If we substitute 'could never do without' by 'would rather not do without' then my answer changes to: music, a subset of my friends, a computer, fruit, coffee, and love.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. The Meaning of Life or lack thereof. I think we have the freedom to choose or create meaning in life for ourselves. This sounds nonsensical and it may be. But so what?
On a typical Friday night I am
Either visiting friends or at home. I am not that much into excessive partying but there are exceptions of course. Concerts are great and very occasionally also the theater. When I am at home I may, if I can bring myself to it, do something creative like drawing, making music, programming, or writing. With friends almost anything goes. You will (almost) never find me on a party with Goa music, or playing a tabletop RPG.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Private things do stay private. But how about some random facts about myself? I like rabbits very much and frogs and any other animal with the ability to hop. Occasionally I go to concerts alone, if I cannot find someone I know who shares my fascination for a band or an artist. I don't watch television.
You should message me if
If you are looking for something stable, value pragmatism more than ideologies, and have more admirable aims in your life than travelling the world.

Also, if you think this is funny:

Or, for those who rather read:
