My self-summary
Trying to live life with integrity, honesty and meaning are important to me, as is making the most of every day. I have an introspective side which means I can be alone but I also thrive on conversation and interaction. I admire courage in people, I respect those that can understand the importance of testing their boundaries acknowledging their fears and pushing on anyway. I find loyalty to be a most attractive quality. I love to laugh, I love my family and I love to eat good food. I admire people who have passion and commitment and pursue their interests with vigour.
What I’m doing with my life
My career measures its worth in helping people, it feels like honest money.
I practice Kyudo (Japanese Archery) and find it is the most challenging thing I have ever done and one of the most rewarding.
I love hanging out with my little nephews, playing lego and having backyard adventures.
I’m really good at
Listening, being focussed, commitment, reflection, passionate pursuit of things I love, creativity, imagination, getting good car parks, inventing games to play with my nephews.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy philosophy, Marcus Aurelius is a favourite, Good Company by Shantanand Saraswati, Anything by Bernard Cornwell, Tolkien, anything related to Bushido, I have dabbled in the Norse Sagas, David Suzuki.
Don't watch much TV but I do love big bang theory, Modern family, Sons of Anarchy, Long way round, Long way down, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, grand designs and when it was on Spaced.
I love Japanese food, thai, and middle eastern cooking and I reckon Jamie Oliver is a stand up guy with a big heart!
I am a big fan of Sumi-e painting and Japanese calligraphy, as well as the tea ceremony, the focus, commitment, elegance and shear beauty of all three arts never ceases to amaze me.
