My self-summary
First, introductions. Always give your name before inquiring another.
So, I'm James. Greetings and salutations.

Back in central Texas, Lockhart, just south of Austin.

Not a big socialite at first. After some warming up you'll probably be telling me to make sense or shut up.

I've managed to switch my time of sleep due to work. So I sleep during the day and usually up all night.

I'm a typical nerd type character. I enjoy some games and a good read. Can also include animus and mangoes, if anything there I do prefer a shoujo series, but I'm not above jump comics. I also try to make less sense of things that make perfect sense.

I also love to travel. I've hit the lower 48 and lived in a couple of states. Want to go on a trip? I'm pretty good at drafting out a plan and budget.

Not afraid to try most things once.

Another thing I love a good argument. I'll often find a reason to argue. Doesn't matter if we agree I'm gonna fight it.
What I’m doing with my life
Slaving away at work. I work overnight at the local Walmart. (10pm - 7am)
So I'm a literal vampire.

Also working on whittling my remaining debt. Woo almost done.

Hoping to get back to school soon. The overall goal is to become an educator. I spent a good deal of time as a substitute teacher for primary students. They told me I couldn't sub in high schools due to me looking like I'd blend with the students.
I’m really good at
Stating the obvious, confusing folks, planning in general, and research.
I could literally spend a day off researching projects or anything that piques my interest.
The first things people usually notice about me
How oblivious I am. My terrible sense of humor, puns much?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Got too many to list, usually cycle through types. I'm on a history binge right now. And barely started reading Harry Potter after being bugged near a decade.
I do have a bad habit of getting halfway before wanting to switch to another book.

Movies: See previous statement.
Top flicks: The Princess Bride
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
The Dark Knight trilogy

TV Shows: Pretty much anything but legal/crime dramas.
Current favorites: Mythbusters, Iron Chef, and the 90s are All That block.

Foods: Anything spicy is great. Heck, I put hot sauce on ice cream to add some flavor. Not too fond of sweets and I enjoy a black cup of coffee.

Music: General rock. 80's and up is fine. Other than that I enjoy instrumentals and select soundtracks.
The six things I could never do without
A child like sense of wonder.
Unending optimism.
Someone to argue with.
Decent food.
A good book.
And a restful night's sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How ghost can phase through walls... what keeps them from sinking into the ground?

I think too much if anything. Maybe that's why I'm so quiet. I need to find someone with telepathy or easy to talk to.
On a typical Friday night I am
Cleaning up, sleeping in, catching up on my game time or a backlogged book. If nothing else researching various fields online.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I enjoy cosplay and roleplaying. I've been attending more conventions lately to get more chance to parade around in costume.
You should message me if
...if you wield Excalibur or any other mystical weapons. Heck, cursed artifacts are welcome too.

If you've got nothing better to do. You just wanna chat or better get to know me. That or create some absurd stories or figure out how to fix various time paradoxes.

That or if you have a high enemy rating... as I do enjoy dabbling on both sides of the spectrum. Perspective is always welcome.
