My self-summary
I'm not sure exactly how to summarize myself in a single paragraph. I'm an artist, and I've been described as being an 'old soul'. I love nature, and I don't get enough of it! Although I'm not very much into sports, I'm a cyclist and I just love going for a long ride through the Clarington countryside. Though I have that side of me, I also appreciate sitting in and watching a good movie or listening to music. I like observing human behavior, and love to share in discussion about this type of thing!
What I’m doing with my life
The information in this section is a little dated, I'll update it eventually! I graduated Niagara College years ago for filmmaking, which is when I began writing the script for the 40-minute short film I'm currently directing! I spent nearly a year and a half working on the script; writing, getting critiques from others, rewriting, and repeating that cycle over again multiple times till I was satisfied and it was a story that I thought I really needed to tell. We've already shot the film, and we're currently editing it. It's a mockumentary film, but I don't want to go on and on about my own film, so you are welcome to ask me about it if you're interested!

I'm currently working freelance as a photographer. Though I love art photography, I've been shooting a lot of weddings to pay the bills. I also shoot live performance stills of some of my musician friends, but that's more for fun and to help their band(s) take off and get proper exposure.

I want to travel, though most of my money over the past few years has gone to my film, so I'm really excited to begin adventuring this summer! I might also be camping... we'll see what the future holds...
I’m really good at
I've been told that I'm a great listener, and that I'm very easy to get along with. I'm good at singing certain styles... I can rock Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love'! On an unrelated note, I make a pretty killer bowl of soup! Not to toot my own horn, but I'm confident in my skills as a photographer. I guess you could say I'm good at creative concepts for photography and storytelling! I'm a pretty naturally 'outside of the box' thinker, so I'm pretty good at taking conversations to interesting places.
The first things people usually notice about me
My warm-spirited, quirky, and easy to get along with nature!

Six things I could never do without
Art (music, film, photography, and the list goes on!), my DSLR camera, my macbook, the films of Danny Boyle (Sunshine, 28 Days Later, 127 Hours, Slumdog Millionaire), the beautiful shining sun of ours, and sweet fresh air and nature!

Oh, and my wonderful friends and family of course! The Beatles were right, all you need is love. This answer is at the top of my list.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Art. Human behavior. What it means to be 'enlightened'. This issues of life! The recurring one at the moment is the 'subjective vs objective reality' debate - my vote is on subjective. I love when science and philosophy meet! Who are we really(false ego)? Does time exist, is space infinite, does reality exist, does existence have a metaphysical component? I'm not saying I'm an expert, these are just the types of issues I spend time thinking about!
On a typical Friday night I am
I could be relaxing at home, watching a good film and eating frozen fruit chunks and berries drizzled in chocolate sauce. Maybe I'm having a friend over to relax and make treats with. Or it could be something else entirely, it all depends upon the day and who I'm with!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was a young child, to my mom I outlined my plans to make a flying machine based around my bicycle. Thankfully, I never actually attempted to create or pilot anything of the sort!
You should message me if
You should message me if you're kind-hearted, open-minded and like having deep conversations! I love talking about anything that stimulates me like films, really all other forms of art as well, society, science, philosophy, and life in general. Especially science and philosophy in films. But I'm open, really. Message me if your idea of a nice date sounds more like coffee shop conversation and walks through trails as opposed to loud clubs and getting drunk.
