That being said, if you like talking about psychology, helping make the world a better place however you can, or finding like-minded individuals whom you can converse, keep reading. :)
Let's see. How to summarize myself... I am a total geek and very proud of it! I spend a lot of time working on improving myself intellectually and emotionally. One of my highest priorities is improving the gentleness and clarity of my communication. I sing pretty much constantly, and I love to sit around and play music with people, both casually and with various local bands. I'm also a huge fan of filking, instafilking about pretty much anything, and hosting filk circles.
I have a baseline level of caring about ...everyone, that seems to sit higher than most. I love everybody. Everyone deserves compassion and care and respect and safety and love. And then when I meet people and get to know them personally, I love them even harder. And then sometimes I fall in romantic love with them. But I love everyone, as a rule. Sometimes people behave in ways that are not acceptable and I have to remove them from my life, but even then I still feel compassion for them. It can be kind of exhausting, but as Watsky says, "I prefer it to the alternative."
So I treat people like I love them. Because I do.
I spend most of my time smiling, but I tend to have resting sad face. I'm probably just lost in thought.
I'm polyamorous. :P I consider myself sapiosexual, and pansexual, so keep that in mind when deciding whether to message me or not. (Note: I say sapiosexual because I find smart brainness sexy. I do NOT mean arbitrary test scores (like IQ) or education. I mean being insightful into something. I find artistic brains sexy, and emotionally cognizant brains sexy, and verbal brains sexy, and handcrafting brains sexy.)
I'm kinky, and while I tend toward the submissive and masochistic side of things, I am a switch depending on the partner and my mood.
I love to share knowledge, but if people get into an argument about something where both sides are correct, or worse, both sides are -wrong-, I am liable to jump in with actual facts that diffuse the situation yet make a solid point in regards to whatever they were talking about.
I am determined, loving, and geeky.
More specifically, I'm getting ready to go to Evergreen State College in the fall, working on my BA prior to getting my Montessori teacher's license.
Update: according to my boyfriend, the first things people notice about me are the "love and warmth" that I "radiate." xD And that I make those around me happy.

...oh. And sex. Lots of thinking about sex. xD
And most recently, how incredibly calming and beautiful the sound of rain outside my window can be on a still night in the city.
And the fact that I am currently a lot like Steven, but oh my god I want to grow up to be Garnet. "I am made of love" is a concept I strive for unceasingly.
b) You are prepared to have read my profile and followed these guidelines (if I get a message from someone who obviously just glanced at my picture and decided to message me, I simply won't respond.)
c) You are interested in actually having conversations, as opposed to simply telling me we should fuck without knowing me at all.
