My self-summary
*Hello there, my name is Sheldon. I would like to use this site to look for friends, and after getting to be friends, hanging out, getting to know each other..if a relationship eventually happens, fantastic! If not, then I've made a friend :).
*I'm a big horror movie fan, I've loved scary stuff since I was a kid.
*I like hiking and camping and the outdoors, it's relaxing, fun, and can be good exercise.
What I’m doing with my life
*I recently left my job at Walmart in Escondido of about 2 years to head back to college in Fall, to pursue a degree in Bio-manufacturing at Mira Costa Community College.
*Until college starts up, i'm working on my life, exercising on a regular basis and eating better to cut down on this weight.
I’m really good at
*I have played the violin since 4th grade and I really enjoy playing it. I've been out of practice for a few years but am starting to get back into it, as well as I've started playing the harmonica.
*I'm good at and enjoy playing video games :P I've recently been playing a lot of Overwatch on the PC.
*I've been making Cosplay outfits for a little bit now, and I learn a lot with each project, I love cosplaying. I plan on redoing my Thor cosplay for the Avengers: Infinity War premier.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
*Books: I loved Goosebumps books as a kid, as well as the Harry Potter books. I have a Ray Bradbury short story collection book that I really enjoyed reading, I could not put that down. Recently i've been reading some Stephen King, i'd really like to read Children of the Corn if I could get my hands on that book.
*Movies: I have been a huge fan of Horror and Sci-fi movies since I was a little kid. I grew up reading Goosebumps and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. I love The Lord of the Rings, John Carpenter's The Thing, Mary and Max, Alien.
*Shows: Spongebob, Ed Edd and Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog are very special to me, I loved them as a kid and I love them now.
The Batman animated series and X-men animated series are what got me into comics growing up. I never read much comics, but I loved the Marvel and DC universe.
*Anime: Gurren Lagann has to be my favorite anime, Dramatic and crazy. The last time I visited Anime Expo, I went to this huge room gathering for the Gurren Lagann first movie..loud speakers and giant tv..all the people in the room went NUTS anytime anything happened..and people singing along with songs as they played in the was an amazing experience as a fan of the show.
*Manga: I love anything by Junji Ito, his short story horror manga are amazing. I fell in love reading Elfen Lied(after watching the anime), it was so depressing and touching..I loved it, I bought the whole manga set after reading it.
*Music: I grew up learning to play the violin with classical music, and Courage the Cowardly Dog used classical music, I loves me some classical musics.
*Food: Sandwiches and Salads are my staple foods, I make them at home all the time. Mexican and Chinese food is very tasty. Plain green beans make a surprisingly tasty snack.
Six things I could never do without
*nice, hot showers
*a comfy pair of shoes
*a good nights sleep
*Heater/fan(fight off the cold and hot days)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
*What I would change if I could go back and restart high school all over again. It's neat to look back on parts of your life, and think what could have been if something were different, or you made a different choice.
On a typical Friday night I am
Browsing the internet, chattin it up with friends online, and eatin some snacks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
*In middle school, I had a horrible embarrassing moment where we were putting on a performance of Cyrano de Bergerac. Everyone involved was in full costume..except me(I somehow missed the memo), so I went onto stage scared as can be..the audience obviously talking about whats going on since im in normal clothes..and I quickly forgot my lines to say on stage ><. The person I was talking to on stage started silently telling me my lines to say while on stage, and then improvising to skip the scene entirely.
You should message me if
*You're looking for friends or someone to date.
*If you want to chat about costumes, science, video games, cool horror or sci-fi movies, going on fun hikes and adventures.
