My self-summary
What a beautiful face
I have found in this place
Circling all 'round the sun
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I used to be a really big fan of The Simpsons, but as an adult not so much.
I would like to say, though, that the series really started to take a dive at season 4. Most fans view this as the series' true beginning, and it also marks the beginning of the series' descent into absurdity, a descent from mild pessimism into a freewheeling, giggling nihilism.

I don't really like Star Wars. I didn't care that much for Force Awakens. The one that I do like is the fifth one, because it's the moodiest, the most mystical, the most Jungian. Knights of the Old Republic II is my favorite piece of Star Wars media, because it's a competent deconstruction of the mythos, and the most genuinely foreboding ("Movie 3 is the darkest one!" eat your heart out).
I'm one of those Obsidian>BioWare people for similar aesthetic reasons.

Like most white people, I like hummus and guacamole. I especially like hummus on Ak-Mak. I like saying Ak-Mak. A cream cheese and cucumber sandwich with sprouts really hits the spot (I like cucumber everything, basically).
I eat store-brand unsweetened cheerios for breakfast, with store-brand unsweetened soy milk.
I'm a ginger-ale snob, cock and bull or reed's, please.
my favorite restaurant food is Thai, sushi and Italian are also good, though.

T V:
I don't watch a lot of new shows actively, either through the cable or on Netflix, but there are some classics I like.
I feel like this is a relevant section to mention that I think Rick and Morty is vapid, pretentious, and vulgar. My TV taste is more defined by what I don't like.

It doesn't even know what it's doing with itself anymore, and I honestly hope it dies and there aren't any more.
Witcher 3>Witcher 1>Witcher 2
That's an objective fact.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
is knowing how to spell bourgeoisie... bourgeoisie?

I really want to be a contestant on The Price is Right. In an ironic way. It's a pretty good expression of a consumerist dystopia: a show where you win lots of money for slavishly following pricing trends and being the ultimate shopper.
Supermarket Sweeps ranks pretty high as well, but I don't think that's in syndication anymore.

I'm not actually a communist, btw.
On a typical Friday night I am
Waiting for the electrician, or someone like him.
