My self-summary
Time to update!

I am simultaneously one of the strangest and most boring people you will ever meet, all at the same time. My interests are wide and varied, and sometimes appear to contradict one another. I like most sports, but also host a Dungeons and Dragons game with friends. I enjoy playing video games from all generations, but am also genderfluid, so occassionally do so in a dress. I keep up with politics (particularly local politics), but still try to get along with everyone.

I am sarcastic, intelligent, and nerdy
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to enjoy life to its fullest. I am a supervisor at a call center here in town. I am also an election judge within Lawrence, so I'm pretty busy on most election days. I'm active within local politics, going to City Commission meetings and even running once (and perhaps again).
I’m really good at
Getting along with people. I'm one of those guys who understands that people can have differences of opinion and still have a civil conversation about other things. I suppose it comes from being a liberal in Kansas.
The first things people usually notice about me
It depends on the day. On my "girl" days, it's usually something like "how is he walking in those heels?" For the vast majority of the time, though, I try to let my sense of humor come first. It's a lot easier to talk to someone when you are both smiling.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love cooking, but sometimes am too lazy to. If you can cook good chicken and mashed potatoes, you will be loved forever.

I haven't read books for a long time. Previous jobs required me to read almost constantly (long, boring magazine articles), so I haven't yet picked up a book I really enjoy. When I do, it will likely be a nonfiction political or historical book.

I listen to just about any kind of music. I play the guitar (or try to, not terribly good), so I try to appreciate all types of music.
Six things I could never do without
1. My computer
2. guitar
3. coffee
4. My KU jacket
5. friends
6. family.... yes, the last two are cliche.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything and nothing, all at the same time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to get away from my computer, hanging out with friends over a couple beers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've mentioned it a couple times in my post, but I consider myself genderfluid. I'm "out," but it's still pretty confusing, even to me. I'm just trying to do what feels right.
You should message me if
If you want to talk politics and you're not weirded out by the fluidity thing. Not to be self-loathing, but I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. If it IS, though, we should have a cup of coffee, sometime.
