I am a Colorado native. I used to be a video game programmer at a company in Louisville (near Boulder) called NetDevil. I am a drummer in rock band that focuses on a Metallica/Pink Floyd fusion of sorts (although we play lots of stuff ranging from classic rock, metal and alternative to jazz and classical, whatever we feel like really...).
I grew up in Breckenridge, Colorado and therefore love to be and do stuff outdoors. I love camping, hiking, dirtbiking, mountain biking, skiiing and hockey to name a few. I am a very active person who is in relatively good shape.
I am usually pretty shy and quiet around people I don't know very well or at all, but very funny and outgoing around friends and family. I'm actually quite a goofball.
I work for my father in his Chocolate Fountain business. Who wants to touch me? *PAUSE* I SAID WHO WANTS TO FREAKING TOUCH ME?!?
BTW, if you don't get the above reference, I apologize. You might pick up a hint somewhere else in my profile...
Trivia: I grew up ~20 miles from South Park, Colorado (yes, it IS a real town, although it wasn't originally based off of South Park). Actually, Breckenridge is on the other side of "Hell's Pass" (no it's not really called that, nor is there a Hell's Pass that I know of). I absolutely love South Park. My favorite show period.
Trivia: The movie Dumb and Dumber was 90% filmed in Breckenridge (where I'm from) and NOT Aspen! Some of my friends are in the movie even (the kids riding on the chairlift when his tongue gets stuck for example).
I am fun-loving, a little crazy, and easily amused.
But I go to school full-time and work a few various part time jobs on the side ranging from web development and video game programming to chauffeuring wealthy middle-aged hipsters and businessmen around Houston while they get drunk at different clubs.
I am intending to get a major in theoretical physics. I am somewhat broke right now, so I am getting my intial associate's degree outta the way at Lone Star College - Montgomery before I transfer.
I also enjoy Jager and Jagerbombs when I can. Jager: I love to hate it!
(b) The Lord of the Rings (all three), The Matrix (all three, mostly the first), The Chronicles of Narnia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Team America, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Caddyshack, Family Guy: The Stewie Griffin Story, Requiem for a Dream, Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 (mostly because it's Resident Evil, I was dissapointed how poorly they followed the games besides names and having zombies), Shrek and Shrek 2, Pirates of the Carribean, Beerfest, Super Troopers, Across the Universe, Superbad, Office Space, Beavis and Butthead Do America, 40 Year Old Virgin, Clerks 2, and many of the old Disney animated movies from when I was a kid, like Aladdin, Lion King and even older like the Rescuers and the Fox and the Hound. Real classics.
(c) Whew... here goes (this is a partial list):
311, Aerosmith, Audioslave, Alice in Chains, The Beatles, Black Label Society, Black Sabbath/Ozzy, Blue Oyster Cult, Collective Soul, CCR, Dire Straits, The Doors, Elton John, The Eagles, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Eric Clapton, Foo Fighters, Godsmack, Green Day, Guns 'n' Roses, Incubus, Jimi Hendrix, Kansas, Korn, Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Megadeth, Metallica, The Moody Blues, Neil Young, Nirvana, The Offspring, Pantera, Pink Floyd, Primus, Queen, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rob Zombie, Rush, Slipknot, Smashing Pumpkins, Staind, Steppenwolf, Stone Temple Pilots, Sublime, System of a Down, Tool, Umphrey's McGee, Van Halen, Weezer, The Who, Yes and ZZ Top.
I use to not be really into rap at all; I'd listen to it if someone else is, but I never really chose to listen to rap. I liked Eminim a little but, but that was it. Nothing against it, just not my cup of tea or whatever. But in the last few years I've started to like rap much more and really listen to more Eminem now, some Dre, Kid Cudi, some JayZ, Geto Boys, Snoop Dogg, and a few more I can't think of right now.
(d) Mexican, Italian, Chinese, and almost any kind of American food. I love Macaroni and Cheese. I love milk especially. I can drink a gallon a day sometimes (not often though, too expensive). I love fresh, homemade cinnamon rolls. There was nothing quite like having a mom that made all sorts of delicious baked goods (cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, you name it!) and coming home super baked and her saying "I just tried this/these new recipe(s) today, tell me what you think!"
(e, New category: video games) Final Fantasy VII (probably all-time favorite), Final Fantasies VIII & X, World of Warcraft, Anything with Link (that include Super Smash Bros.!), Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 & 4, Silent Hill 2 and 3, Breath of Fire III, Lunar: SSSC and Lunar 2, DOOM, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, MarioKart 64, Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and especially 3 (best ending for any video game, movie or book ever!), ExciteBike 64, Unreal Tournament, Doom 3 (scariest shit ever!), Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore, Gears of War, Grand Theft Auto IV, Mass Effect, Condemned: Criminal Origins and Condemned 2: Bloodshot, Dead Rising... more to come when I remember them. ADD SUCKS!
Wow, haven't updated this in a long time... BioShock and BioShock2, Mass Effect 2 and 3, Red Dead Redemption.
TIE: My Computer/My Cell Phone
Mostly in that order too. :)
I am a physics and math nerd.
If you haven't noticed by now, I overuse the elipsis... (This one right here is the 8th I think?)
