My self-summary
I'm a super hot, famous dude who is also rich. Oh, since I'd rather not have any media attention, the pics i've included are old and pre-op.

I'm a very logical person...my friends consider me a modern Socrates (no hemlock mouthwash for me!). I enjoy arguments, especially ones that don't end in fistfights. I'm always up for naturally fun times, but will sometimes substitute binge drinking for it.

I have an engineering background but I've brought a lot of other things into the foreground...politics, economics, literature, and even happy little trees.

I am melioristic, optimistic, and somewhat odd
What I’m doing with my life
Finally starting to move forward (in my career, studies, and socially). I've been in Atlanta for just over a year and am now on a six week journey around Europe (and possibly Asia). Looking for insight wherever I can find it.
I’m really good at
Cooking my own versions of chili and pizza, programming, debate, being different and entertaining (usually in an unusual sense). I'm also very good at being open to other people's views, even if they differ greatly from my own.
The first things people usually notice about me
Bad posture? Well dressed in a seedy place/area?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Crime and Punishment, Shogun, Cat's Cradle, King Rat, A Brave New World

Donnie Darko, American Psycho, American Beauty, I Heart Huckabees, The Big Lebowski, The Graduate, Lawrence of Arabia, British Beatlemania.

Dexter, Mad Men, Battlestar Gallactica.

Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Pearl Jam, Tears for Fears, Kings of Convenience, and classic rock in general

tex-mex (the whole enchilada) and thai but I'm an equal opportunity eater with a quickly growing appetite for fine dining.
Six things I could never do without
Cognizance, time to think, humor, interest/curiosity, people, internet access.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I should be doing with my time, how things work and how to improve them (especially efficiency), moral relativism, and politics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Whatever mischief/shenanigans I can muster. Since I landed in Atlanta 8 months ago I've gone out almost every day. Plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead, which at this rate may not be too long to wait. I try to head on a weekend trip at least once a month for additional mustering power.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I basically had my life on hold for 6 years and now I'm ready to live again. Maybe even make up for lost time. I've made a lot of progress in the last couple years and moving to Atlanta from middle Georgia should help accelerate that.
You should message me if
1. you want to have an intellectually stimulating conversation or
2. you want to discuss farming/gardening in general or travel in eastern/northern europe or
3. You can think outside the box. My coworkers often say I think outside the room and it'd be nice to relate, follow along, and make me think in new ways.
4. you are local and (potentially) want to (eventually) do one or more of the following: improve my social life, show me around, or do something crazy.
