My self-summary
It's time to stop being apologetic for who we are:

- I play PC/Video/Tabletop games. A lot.
- I'm overweight. I'm not happy about it, but I am.
- I'm not a very outwardly emotional person.
- I often harbor inappropriate and unwholesome thoughts.
- I am socially awkward
- I will never be the life of a party. If I even go to a party at all.
- My humor is often dry and dark.
- I don't drink, and I probably never will.
- I'm not 420 friendly.

At a glance, and at my core, I could be described as a geek, or a nerd. What does that even mean anymore? Geek and Nerd culture has penetrated pop-culture so much these days that it's not enough to just be that anymore, is it? I'm really not sure how else to put it though.

I love games. Any kind of game. I say this knowing how it may come off to many. Let me explain. First, and most importantly, I love what games do for me, and for other people like me. I've always had trouble socializing or feeling anxious, especially in groups and with unfamiliar faces. Games offered a way for me to socialize and bond with people, allowing me the time to adjust and open up. It's a common platform people can sit down with and just spend some time together doing something. The game itself isn't important, it's the people you play with. And the second reason? They open up a whole new world to people. New ideas. New points of view. New cultures. New types of people. They have the ability to immerse us in their realm and offer a compelling tale, a genuinely fun experience, or just a simple escape from a hard day.

Games. Are. Important.

But they aren't everything.

I enjoy creative things. I've done some writing here and there, I do digital painting for fun, and I have an art degree for 3D graphics. I'm not as good at it, but I also like making things with my hands. I love to cook and consider it a creative outlet for myself. And contrary to my previous mentioning of social anxiety I like having people over and hosting.

I'm a logical person. Maybe to a fault. I can stay level headed in a lot of situations that may invoke a more passionate response in other people. I don't know if this is a good thing, and it's something I'm exploring. I'm not spiritual in any way what so ever. I enjoy science and technology, and part of my job is doing IT work.

And armed with all of this information do you know who I am? Nope. It's complicated, right?
What I’m doing with my life
I work a full-time-five-day-a-week job. I'm a graphic (3D) artist for a small company.

Aside from work I'm constantly churning ideas and putting projects on a list in my head, sometimes they make it to paper. Sometimes it's a game design. Sometimes I get an idea for a music video I'd like to make. Other times it's a painting I want to do. I also want to make my own comic. And do 3D modeling projects. Maybe I'd like to make a YouTube channel. So many things to do.

I'm also trying to embark on a long journey of self improvement. Mentally and physically.
I’m really good at
I'm good at a lot of things. I put my hands into so many different things that I feel I don't have the focus to be really GREAT at one single thing.

Yeah. I didn't really answer the question, did I?
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a bigger guy, I suppose that's what some one would first notice. I'm working on it. If this is an issue for you then you can move on because it won't happen overnight. I really want to be healthier though.

Aside from that I get the most comments about my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I don't read often, but I will read occasionally. I like fantasy or sci-fi novels, and I'll read text books on subjects I find interesting.

Movies: Avatar, Fight Club, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Serenity, Inception, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Zombieland, Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog, How to Train Your Dragon, Batman: Under the Red Hood, Boondock Saints, Guardians of the Galaxy. I'd have to really dig to remember some more and I'm sure there's a lot missing from this list that need to be here.

Shows:
Youtube: Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, SortedFood, You Suck at Cooking, TeamFourStar.

Anime: Black Lagoon, Death Note, FLCL, Tokyo Ghoul, One Punch Man, Mob Psycho (+ many more).

TV: Penn & Teller's Bullshit, South Park, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Steven Universe, Young Justice.

Music: Lots. Mostly rock/alternative rock. From a punkish style (like Rise Against) to something heavier (like Tool) even some more mellow things like Mumford and sons. Oh and game and geek culture related things (like The Megas, or Frontalot)

Food: I like a large variety of food, and I'm pretty open to trying new things, but at my heart I'm a steak and potatoes kind of guy. Simple, right?
The six things I could never do without
- My laptop/computer
- Games
- Friends
- Internet connection
- My glasses
- Some way to write down thoughts and ideas
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Derp?

Completely random things, like: why does my cat hate every female human on the planet, while being completely fine with any random guy who walks in the apartment?
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing games with friends. Or working on some artistic-like proiect. Or catching up on sleep. I'd really like to start shaking things up a bit, however.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a WoW survivor. Friends don't let friends be devoured by MMOs.
You should message me if
You're looking for a geeky friend to chat with. Not currently looking for anything serious.

And if I visited your profile and we have things in common but I DIDN'T message you, odds are it's because you're set to looking for people "near you". Feel free to toss me a message though.
