My self-summary
No longer looking

I could go on a small rant saying how I'm kind and loyal. Trustworthy and gentlemanly. Chivalrous in ways. Would you believe me just because I said so?

At my core I could be described as a geek, or a nerd, or a gamer. Occasionally served with a bit of dork. But I know how to enjoy the simple things as well; walks in the rain, a cozy night in with a good (or hilariously bad) movie, random adventures (sometimes I just feel like picking a direction I've never driven before and go until I find something interesting). I'm also an artist, and someone with more ideas than he knows what to do with.

I'm not religious in any way, shape, or form. I don't think you have to be spiritual to have morals or be a decent human being. I suppose I'm a liberal, though I'd prefer to think of it as "person who seems to usually agree with the liberal mindset".

I'm looking to form a deep and meaningful connection with another human being, not have a casual fling.

Things I like: video games, computer games, board games, card games (TCG/CCG, or even just normal cards), tabletop games (yes, like D&D), art and digital graphics, photoshop, comic books, anime, steampunk, cooking, philosophical discussions, geeking out over silly things.
What I’m doing with my life
I work a full-time-five-day-a-week job. I'm a graphic artist for a small company. Living on my own with my cat...He's kind of like that really inconsiderate roommate.

Aside from work I'm constantly churning ideas in my head and putting projects projects on my plate. Sometimes it's a game design. Sometimes I get an idea for a music video I'd like to make. Other times it's a painting I want to do! I also want to make my own comic. And do 3D modeling projects. So many things to do.

Also I'm eating healthier, working out, and trying to be all around more active.
I’m really good at
I'm good at a lot of things. This isn't me bragging. This is actually a problem! I put my hands into so many different outlets (not literally...not after that first time anyway!) I don't have the focus to be really GREAT at something. So I often feel I'm not amazing at any one thing, but good at a whole bunch of things. You'll have to find out, eh?
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a bigger guy, I suppose that's what some one would first notice. I'm working on it. If this is an issue for you then you can move on because it won't happen overnight. I really want to be healthier though.

Aside from that I get the most comments about my eyes (so cliche it hurts).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I don't read often, but I will read occasionally. I like fantasy or sci-fi novels, and I'll actually read text books on subjects I find interesting. Do comics count here?

Movies: Avatar, Fight Club, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Serenity, Inception, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Zombieland, Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog, How to Train Your Dragon, Batman: Under the Red Hood, Boondock Saints, The Avengers. I'd have to really dig to remember some older ones.

Shows: Supernatural, Law and Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, MST3K, Tosh.0, South Park, Daily Show, House, Young Justice.

Anime: Black Lagoon, Death Note, FLCL, Mai Hime (and many others!).

Music: Lots. Mostly rock/alternative rock. From a punkish style (like Rise Against) to something more metal (like Tool) even some more mellow things like Mumford and sons. Oh and game and geek culture related things (like The Megas, or Frontalot)

Food: Chicken Ceasar salad/sandwhich, Chicken Alfredo, Mac and Cheese. Bagel sandwiches. Steak. Alas, much of this has had to, for the most part, leave my life to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
The six things I could never do without
-My laptop/computer
-My wacom tablet
-Internet connection
-My glasses
-My ambition
I spend a lot of time thinking about

Completely random things, like: why does my cat hate every female human on the planet, while being completely fine with any random guy who walks in the apartment?

I suppose I wonder, like many on here do I'm sure, if there really is some one out there that I can form that special connection with. Yup. Cheesy.

Wondering how many people see the "Gamer" exterior and automatically assume "socially inept mouth-breather" or "totally bro".
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing games with friends. Or working on some artistic-like proiect. Or catching up on sleep. I'd really like to start shaking things up a bit, however.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
-I'm a WoW survivor. Friends don't let friends be devoured by MMOs.

-Despite popular belief, I am not perfect...yet.
You should message me if
-You like games
-You're a nerd/geek/dork and proud of it
-You just want to talk about crazy and random things
-You want a activity partner (Card games, video games, movies)
-You think a night around a big table with friends and d20's is a fantastic evening.
-You want in on world domination
-For some reason you're still reading this
-Dating prospects see below:

What I'm looking for: Simply put? A partner in crime. Someone kind and funny, doesn't take things too seriously. I'd prefer if they didn't smoke, though some things have exceptions (note: I do not tolerate drugs). It'd be nice if they were a little geeky (or a lot geeky!) and would sit around and play games with me. Some one sharp, not afraid to speak up. I want someone who is their own person, but still looking to share that.

Must love random adventures.

Or: Geeky-minded friends to either hang out with or just chat at online.

Also: I really want some one who will geek out with me over Wildstar. Anyone?
