But seriously, who am I? Here’s the readers digest version of the complex human being that is me: I'm a scientist, a business man, an artist, a philosopher, a friend, a father and a lover. I'm an explorer and an academic. I'm part idealist, part realist. Part dreamer, part pragmatist. I am deeply passionate and outgoing or quiet and introspective. I am happy in the city, in the country or in the wilderness. I can have a beer with the boys and talk sports or discuss the origins of the universe and the meaning of it all over fine wine. I can go from wearing jeans and a t-shirt in the morning to a formal black tie event in the evening. I have experienced wonder and boredom and joy and despair. Good times and adversity. And so much more...
I should also state I'm an Atheist and Humanist so if you are at all religious or overly mystical/spiritual we likely won't be a match. Also, if you ascribe to any pseudoscientific alternative medicine beliefs or only eat organic, believe vaccines cause autism, hate GMOs etc we won't get along. I know the above just eliminated 99.9% of the women in Vancouver but I'm looking for the 0.1%.
I'm also not an upgraded member so can't see anyone who "likes" me. Pretty much a useless feature for most of us :)
P.S. My beautiful daughter is very important to me. I have her half the time and am a hands on Dad. You must be willing to share me! Having said that there is still lots of time for each other. Also, I should let you know up front that it says I "don't want any more" for children on my profile which means that if you have any children already that is fantastic but I had that little medical procedure several years ago so won't be fathering any more of my own.
I've also finally got my SCUBA certification and have been doing a fair bit of diving recently. It's taking up a good chunk of my spare time. So if you dive or are interested in learning it would be awesome to find a partner and a dive buddy :)
