My self-summary
Greetings Internet OKCupid traveler! I had a clever introduction, but I suppose it sat for to long. So now I will bake a new one while you enjoy this interim.

Been in Seattle for a while now. Acclimating well, been fun. Different from Florida for sure.

So I'm a big 'ol nerd, love the stereotypical things you'd expect, and
I do a fair amount of gaming, video, tabletop, the like. Also Magic the Gathering, because it is my job.

I grew up in South Florida, so I'm a secret fan of things like quiet beaches, fishing, and other boat/water related activities. Adventures of all kinds really.

I'm a big dog person. (Which is to say I like dogs, and I enjoy big dogs in particular)
What I’m doing with my life
"Magic the Gathering, 1st in the Deckmaster Series of games!"

I am an Overstock Specialist over at the Card Kingdom. I sift through something like between 5,000 and 100,00 Magic cards a day for 40 hours a week doing various uninteresting tasks if you aren't into M:tG. If you are and want to hear about what goes on behind the scenes, ask away!

I am also involved with the Vicarious Theater Company, the local Rocky Horror cast. We don't currently have a regular theater, but we should again soon! Come and see us. While you probably won't see me on stage, you will hear me making callbacks fairly noticably.

I have started cooking more in an attempt to not have such a torrid diet. It is fun. I mostly excel at breakfasts - I can make a mean waffle. I have been expanding my repetoire and would love to try things out on you if you're brave.

Otherwise I've got ky weekly Gaming group session, and various parties, and of course taking my dog anywhere that allows for 3'x5'x2' purses...
I’m really good at
being relaxed, gaming, Waffles and other breakfast concoctions are a specialty of mine when it comes to food preparation.

I'm a fantastic host. I have regular large get-togethers at my home Currently prepping to do weekly gatherings of my gays and other fabulous humans to enjoy the newest season of Ru Paul's drag race. (Its tacky and I love it). When I have access to a larger regular venue I'll do theme parties and traditional holiday events as well.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably the red beard, when it is present. (Ya-har, incidentally)

Of course if the dog is with me, all things are forgotten in favor of fawning over the giant Fuzz Bucket.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV: Star Wars: Rebels is the best thing! Beyond that, these things rotate as new things come out, currently watching Arrested Development, the new DB Super, Flash, Arrow, Archer, Dr. Who, Game of Thrones, and others. I have a Secret obsession with RuPaul's drag race, because it's the only reality-contest show that I find ludicrous enough to be acceptable. (also it's a side effect of having lived with a middle aged gay man for a year.... as a tenant, not as a sugar daddy)

Movies: Still on a Star Wars Kick since the new films started dropping.
I have watched many many films. Highlightable favorites include: Snatch, Smoking Aces, Ghostbusters, The South Park film, Most Pixar films (Incredibles being the best), How to Train your Dragon, the new Marvel Cinematic Universe... There's lots. I enjoy movies.

Music: I Listen to a lot of the radio, classic rock, broadway musicals. My taste is music is pretty much a "yes", my playlists will contain anything from Jimmy Buffet, to Lordi to Ludacris, and everything in between.

Shows: Grew up in love with Les Mis and Into the Woods. Love some new shows like Book of Mormon and Avenue Q. I love the recent musical Something Rotten... If you say there's a musical in town I will probably be looking for an excuse to go.

Books: I enjoy many classics. I dig Lovecraft, other fantasy and sci-fi Authors. My Favorite author is Diane Duane though, Check her out if you like the Harry Potters.

gaming: Star Wars RPGs, and of course dnd/MtG. Also many board games
Six things I could never do without
Contact (Social, Mental, Physical)
My Glasses
My Dog
I spend a lot of time thinking about
New Events to host at the abode.

What the hell I've got going on every night this week, I tend to have a fully loaded schedule.

Whether or not I can bring the dog with me wherever I am going
On a typical Friday night I am
Soon Friday night is to be our weekly viewing of RuPaul's Drag Race, so it involves vodka drinks and cattyness.

In general it will be whatever I find to do. Could be drinking with friends, could be board games, could be a night in with the woofer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
So 4/5 Senses function at about 50-60% for me.
I have bad eyes (see the glasses).

I have had terrible sinuses since I was a kid. I don't sniffle constantly or anything, I just have a dulled sense of smell and taste.

Combine all that with too much loud rock music and front row concerts to destroy my hearing, and pow.

The result being I am hyper-tactile. I eat almost exclusively on texture and temperature, both of which I am very sensitive to.

It seems more weird than private, but meh. Its a thing? not one I normally just bring up.
You should message me if
You're a person who enjoys someone who is eclectic, nerdy, and fairly genuine. I am certainly always looking for dates and the like. Moreover in the market for something that could become long term. I want to be with a human that I feel I can seriously invest in.

Or if you just want to go do something fun for the sake of itself. I enjoy random adventures with new folks.

Also please be a dog person. I currently have a 100lb mountain of fluff at home, and you've got to be ok with that.
