My self-summary
I hate lying.
I hate dishonesty.

Music is my life.
For real.
Everything I do completely revolves around music and how I can affect people with it.
I spent several years singing roles in the professional opera world, and am now focusing primarily on the music directing/production side of things.
It's an exciting...and incredibly busy...journey.
What I’m doing with my life
Professional singer/pianist. I play and sing all sorts of things; primarily, I am in metro Detroit, but I definitely travel all over. My profession has taken me to Europe several times and I cannot wait to go back.

I have also recently re-kindled my love of teaching. There's something extremely fulfilling about watching a child learn to love and understand music.

I've been composing quite a bit of original material and having it performed, as well as appearing in the studio quite frequently (usually recording new pieces for pretty established composers).

In the professional opera world, I have fallen into the niche of the character tenor. The roles I do serve as, usually, a link to the musical theatre genre...and I love it.

I am quite involved in church music as well---directing, programming, playing, singing. Currently I'm the Assistant Director of Music at a cathedral style episcopal church as well as a conservative synagogue. Conflict of interest, much? Muaha.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am not shy.

And my blue eyes (which happen to be my favorite part of me).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I honestly have not made the time recently to enjoy a good book. This makes me sad when I think about it...and I will get back on the wagon eventually.
The Harry Potter series will, more than likely, contain some of my favorite books of all time.

I love foreign films.
Memoirs of a Geisha (because I AM a geisha) and Pan's Labyrinth are two of my favorites. Also, Princess Bride and Monty Python (Holy Grail) are absolute classics.
Stepmom is my go-to for CRYING.

Favorite shows:
Tv?? Scandal. Once upon a time.
And West Wing was the smartest show ever on television.
As for theatre:
The Last 5 Years. Really speaks to me EVERY time I listen to it.
Aida - the opera and the musical theatre works. ;)
Tosca is the opera I had my first main stage role in (Spoletta) and will, therefore, always have a special place in my heart.

Music...quite the range.
Though I get sick of country and rap rather quickly. Also the "Phantom of the Opera" can, generally, find its way off of any playlist I'll be listening to.

Food: I'm almost vegan. Though, one in a while I give in and eat cheese.
I love cheese.
Also veggie subs from Subway. I am mildly obsessed.
Six things I could never do without
1. My phone.
2. Water.
3. Lotion.
4. Toothpaste.
5. My friends.
6. Music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'll be and what I'll be week.
How I get about 1 week off during the year. And it is my favorite week.
On a typical Friday night I am
Performing somewhere then having a nice Temperanillo or Bourbon.
Or, cuddled up in front of the TV is often quite enjoyable.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You should message me if
You don't go to the bars every single night and are interested in dating one - and only one - person.
I have quite a bit to offer...but I'm really tired of offering it to idiots.
The two of us
